It had been a fairly normal day in city Mendoza called home. The morning chores had been accomplished. By that, his servants had done them already. He had dressed formally today, something that was out of the ordinary. That only lasted a few hours however as he returned to his usual casual attire of a simple black T-shirt, blue jeans and running shoes.. Only until a rather plain meeting had been held. His advisers were concerned with the new action Mendoza had issued out to support the Vizard. It was not a favored option to say the least. Many had threatened to resign at the beginning, but Mendoza convinced them all otherwise. It was daunting to say the least. He hated to imagine what it would be like if he didn't have people to do the little stuff for him. Like notify him of a shinigami appearing within the city limits. This event occurred later in the day, around rush hour. The streets were filled with people, but fullbringers were among them. They patrolled the streets, looking like the casual businessman or woman. It was they who picked up on the shinigami who arrived. A quick phone call and it was directed to Mendoza's personal assistant. Mendoza had made it clear that any shinigami's arrival be made known, he would be informed. He hated leaving racial delegations to subordinates. It was why he meet with the creature known as Vai'el several days ago personally. The same would be done now.

So instead of a rather ordinary day of over viewing projects and expense reports, Mendoza was now headed towards the shinigami, who clearly wanted to be found. Though he hated to go search for people, he was actually rather tired of waiting around. Thus the more proactive response to the shinigami than he had been with the Vizard. That and this shinigami wasn't beating on the mans door, which he did appreciate. It was done in a much subtler way, sending pulses of reiatsu like beacons. He thought to himself "It must be a woman.".

He had been at his office, but he made no time reaching ground floor and making way to the woman. Typically, he would enter bringer light, but with the rush, he called over his car. Something rarely done but quite acceptable in these situations. In a moment, a beautiful blue bugatti veyron pulled up to the side walk. The driver stepped out as soon as the vehicle stopped, leaving the engine running. Mendoza took no time at all entering the vehicle. As quickly as he arrived, he was gone.  The car was fast for a reason, because to Mendoza, cars were quite slow. He honed in on the shinigami's reiatsu like a gps pin drop. He knew the streets well enough to make his way past the traffic and hold ups. It didn't take him more than 10 minutes to find her. He laughed to himself that he called that she was infact a woman. He quickly whipped into the closest parking spot to the woman, who was clearly walking along the streets taking in her surroundings. He let the engine rev to get her attention. He then rolled down the window and leaned out." Hey! Woman in the black top and sunglasses! Come here!" He shouted from the car. He was looking right at her, so there was no way for her to possibly confuse herself with anyone else in the crowd. He wanted to make an impression on the woman. It was his way after all. He held a soft sport for the fairer sex. Which he would regret ever now and then but such was life. He couldn't help but impress a pretty face.
