The desolate lands were held by a touch of darkness and dust, tied together with the musky sands that were the homes to the souls of the damned--or at least, those who were likely half-way there. The moon coated the lands before her, tinging the dunes already coated in latent spiritual energy from all over. To some, it may seem a bit suffocating--to others, practically no difference was felt; in Yukari's case, neither suffocation nor a difference of feeling was held. She was an experienced being in terms of these cross-dimensional travels, and an experienced person in sensing altogether. Thus, the latent reishi spreading around was quite apparent to her, but it neither distracted or discomforted her. The only thing that was on her mind was the imminent dangers that her intuition brought her.

Certainly, this turf was likely to bring hardships. It was the barren lands of the enemy in which a deep feeling of resentment was held within her small chest; the land of her fallen comrades, home to her despised enemies which brought plenty of strife for far too long. Albeit the heavy losses that followed a preceding war, the comfort of her own enemies' heavy losses was present, however little.

Nevertheless, the swirling thoughts that ravaged about her head were dwarfed by the worrying feelings which set her a bit on edge. Yukari had gone through many situations, and in many of them her intuition provided some trusted insight on the possibilities of what might occur, however slight.

The veteran soul reaper grabbed the hemming of her coat, pulling upon it and swaying it to her side, a simple movement which provided nothing but a bit more comfort, similar to when a child would pull the blankets further up when awake in their darkened rooms brought about by the empty evening skies. Coincidentally, the blowing winds which caressed the sand into its flow would provide no issues in light of the pull of her coat.

All she could do was wait--wait for whatever was to come, whether problematic or simple.
