Above the city of New York it sounded like a zipper was being pulled. It didn't look like a zipper though. It looked like several pillars being clearly pulled apart, and stopping at various intervals. Behind these pillars was a swirling black vortex. From this vortex emerged the man with platinum hair. He had been a busy bee. He had been all over the world, observing the earthly races, gathering intel, being a good little 2nd Division member. Some habits just died hard, and some he just refused to let go of. He had business here, and he wasn't about to lose an inch of ground. As he stepped out, the garganta closed behind him. His reiatsu was low. He didn't want to draw attention to himself too soon. He needed time to adjust. New York City gave him a headache. So many people, so many souls. It was like a giant lighthouse for Hollow, and as a result the amount of spiritual signatures was crazy high. He sighed and rolled his eyes behind his white mask with it's red marks. It wasn't hard for him to find what he was looking for. In fact, it was only two miles away from where he was. The Spiritually Aware Humans...they certainly didn't try to hide where they were. A building as tall as that filled with powerful beings may as well have come with a large neon sign that said "We are here". He took a moment to collect his thoughts before sending the signal to the beings inside. With his mask on, his reiatsu was hellishly large, but he kept it low so that nobody interrupted him. As of right now, he was almost undetectable. He'd probably be passed over without notice really by the vast majority. He was a needle in a very very large hay stack. He eyed the building cautiously. With his mask on, he would be hard to identify. His Shinigami Reiatsu would be mixing with the Hollow inside of him. Really, he was indistinguishable from an Arrancar while like this. The only give away was his mask...but you can't "feel" a mask. He had to hope that whoever came wasn't someone who was impulsive and simply looking to make a name for themselves. He really didn't feel like fighting today. He let go of his restrains and his reiatsu flared. A call, a beacon, a summons, for the leader who resided within that building to come out and play.

It was the middle of the day, and he did this. He felt some humans scurry about trying to identify him. None of them got close. All of them ran for the building. He rolled his eyes again. This was the Shinigami's doing. He wanted to spit, but then he'd have to remove the mask. Not an option. So he settled for a sigh of disgust. He hated this...looking around at these beings. They were powerful, filled with potential yet untapped, unrealized! Why? The Shinigami. He blamed them, and he would keep blaming them. It would be alright though. They would be made to see reason. Even if he wasn't the one to bring the Humans out of their darkness and into a new light...someone would. There would always be another. The Vizard thought more about the human leader. He had little information on him. He hadn't made any waves yet, then again...nobody really had for a while. He hoped his attire would be enough to separate him from the Arrancar. Human and Shinigami relations had always been fair. Vizard relations? Non-existent. Hollow relations? Ha. Yeah right. Vai'el was dressed in a black button down shirt. It was waving with his reiatsu flaring though, and exposing his white sleeveless, though you couldn't tell, and backless shirt underneath. His pants were a pair of black slacks with a brown belt, and black shoes. On his left leg one would find his Zanpakuto securely strapped to him. He stood with his left hand in his pocket and his right hand free. His gray eyes scanned the building for any moment that could be seen. So far, all he could feel was the hurried response of humans moving around inside the building, and some on the streets. Who moved in panicked motions. New York...prone to attacks, and filled with people who knew the chain of command, and those who feared any and everything.

In the end, Vai'el would just wait. Their leader would come. Something like this wasn't something the humans could just ignore. Nor was it something to send your weakest soldiers to check out. Unless you hated them. Then sure...they'd get sent to the front. That was, after all, similar to how the Shinigami handled their business when it came to the involvement of Humans. He turned down his reiatsu and his shirt stopped flaring. He was getting too emotional. His hand in his pocket was balled into a fist. He took a deep breath and calmed himself once more. Handling emotions as he always did...but repressing them until he couldn't feel it anymore. Ever since he took leadership, emotions had been coming more freely to him. He needed this to take off without a hitch. Maybe then, he could return to having a frozen tundra, as opposed to a heart. For now, he'd wait there with his reiatsu at a fairly normal and tolerable rate. From the movements of the humans, he could tell many of them could still feel him all the way up there. Impressive, but not something to write home about. For the most part, they all sill seemed perplexed as to what to do. There was only one thing they could do though:

Show him their leader.

Mendoza, the President of Xtinction and quite possibly one of the most powerful Humans in the world, was simply enjoying his lunch. He was dressed lightly, wearing a simple back shirt that blended well with his jeans, belt, and boots. It was comprised of two plates of food. One was made entirely of Kishi, average human food. The other was made of reishi, to keep his spiritual pressure enhanced at its best. It was customary for Mendoza to eat both plates of food at each meal; Always eating the reishi-based dish before the kishi-based one. Mostly because his human body didn't register the reishi dish, only his reiatsu did. It was usually comprised of simple vegetables and rice, as it was today. The Kishi dish was an entirely different story however. Today it was freshly broiled lobster covered lightly in butter. It was one of Mendoza's favorites, he greatly enjoys seafood and eats it on a regular basis. One thing money and powered offered was accessibility, a privilege Mendoza enjoys greatly.

After he had just finished his Reishi plate and picked up his fork to start on the lobster infront of him, A presence made itself know to the world. He eyed out toward the direction of the disturbance. As the dinning hall of the Xtinction building is roughly halfway up the skyscraper, he was a tad bit higher than the being showing off their power. Mendoza regarded the display for what it was, a child calling for attention. But things in the human world were different than in the other realms. He waited a few moments to gauge the situation. It seemed the being hadn't attacked anyone yet, as he hadn't felt any beings cease to exist. All the fullbringers in his building were also alive so the being certainly wasn't hostile. Mendoza analyzed the feeling of its reiatsu for a moment. It was an odd feeling indeed, one he hadn't ever felt before but had read alot about. Vizard. The mix of shinigami and hollow reishi was unmistakable to him. Those who were not as skilled as he would probably assume the feeling were that of an arrancar. Mendoza however could tell the difference, even if he had never actually felt one until now.

As the being diminished his reiatsu to a more suitable but still large level, he assuming the being was quite strong. One could only guess as to their purpose here, but Mendoza assumed it was to meet with him. For what, he had no idea. But their was a process to follow and the Vizard would learn it. Mendoza quickly called over a Body Guard that was always close to him, not that he was needed. He was simply there to avoid any surprise attacks made on the President. His bionic fingers gestured the man over as skillfully as a normal fleshy appendage. As the man leaned over to the Presidents face, who was still seated at the table, Mendoza spoke to the man.

"Let the guest know the order of things. If he wishes to speak with me, you will guide him here. If he doesn't wish to speak and continues to taunt me and my fullbringers, kill em." Mendoza said as he leaned back in his chair, not even looking at the guard. With only a simple nod, the guard quickly exited the room. It took him only three minutes to reach the bottom of the skyscraper. It took him just seconds to appear infront of the Vizard. The Guard was a Fullbringer as well, but one unranked within Xtinctions inner circle. He did serve as a pretty powerful man which made him a decent body Guard for Mendoza. The Guard was dressed in a black suit and tie, a typical attire for a guard as well. This was so their would be no mistake that the man was sent and not just someone who wanted to accept some challenge of power.

"I have been ordered to confirm you intentions. If you wish an audience with the President, as he suspects, I will be more than happy to guide you to him. If not, I must ask you leave the area or you will be dealt with." The Guard spoke to Vai'el. The mans voice was deep and without fault. Although he knew the Vizard was strong, angering Mendoza was a fate worse than death. Infact, Mendoza promised two deaths for whoever disobeyed such easy tasks; a physical one and a spiritual one. The thought alone sent chills down the Guards spine. So here he stood his ground and waited on the mans response.

Boredom began to creep over his skin and sink into every part of his being. Finally, he felt movement. Before the man even arrived, he knew it wasn't the leader. Someone as pitiful as that wasn't possibly able to control an entire business. He restrained a sigh and settled for an eye roll just before the bodyguard appeared and delivered the message. Vai'el didn't respond at first. In fact, one would wonder if he even heard the human. Vai'el just stood there, his purple eyes, thanks to the mask, just staring at the man as if wondering what he could possibly. Want. In truth, Vai'el was wondering what he should do. If things went south and they were inside...well that would be bad for everyone who wasn't him. Vai'el loved to fight in contained spaces. It was his specialty. It tipped the fights in his favor. He did not, however, exactly enjoy the idea of endangering the lives of everyone else in the building as well. Although he was sure that the powered humans would be more than capable of escaping, he wondered how many of them would actually take a moment to save the normal humans who roamed about in the building. It was a game of chance. Vai'el didn't deal in chances, he dealt in facts. What ifs, were not something he gave life to. This man, was either very brave, or very stupid. Vai'el pushed those feelings aside though. He couldn't be bothered to worry about the safety of everyone. There was one goal, one purpose, and one thing he should be concerned with. For right now, that wasn't the lives of bystanders.

Vai'el took a few steps, closing the gap between him and the bodyguard. "I'm hurt he didn't send someone more...capable. C'est la vie...." His words echoed with the mask, a side effect of the mask being on, and had a female's voice underneath his own. She sounded sultry and bored underneath Vai'el's own stoic sound. He vanished in a shunpo, no sound was made, and in moments he was at the building. He didn't wait long, though he would have rather not waited at all, before the bodyguard showed up and the pair proceeded to walk inside. True, Vai'el could have gotten inside and found the boss before his babysitter could even catch him, but what would that do? Merely sow in seeds of chaos, and problems would blossom. Vai'el could tell two things by the fact that he was greeted with a puppet and not the master. One, the man thought himself too good to set foot outside and have a personable welcome. Two, the babysitter's words told Vai'el that the man thought highly of his own powers. Both were not uncommon traits really. So he wasn't too insulted. The Shinigami used to play games like these all the time. He walked with purpose, and yet didn't seem tensed, nervous, or anxious. Looking at him, you'd assume he'd made this walk a dozen times before. In reality he was fighting back another sigh of boredom. Why could nothing be easy? Everyone always had something to prove, some show of bravado to put on. In a world like this, however, where Humans had never had a real chance to prove themselves, suppressed by Shinigami rule that was masked by "guardianship", he supposed it was to be expected and ultimately was fair enough. He couldn't say that he wouldn't have done things any differently put in the man's situation with his his people's history. The fact that this man thought himself something...big, however, and let's be fair leading something like this does take a certain je ne sais quoi, meant that he at least was on the right road to removing the shackles of those people.

Finally they reached the executive's door. Vai'el had kept his reiatsu low, very low, for the sake of the non-super humans in the building. No reason to put strain on their poor bodies. Not to mention that the humans here were, as mentioned, basically summoning Hollow just by being all in one location. If he allowed his reiatsu to sit at a comfortable level for him, with his mask on, then it was basically like slapping a Hollow in the face and demand that they come and invade. With his mask on, of course, his power was a significantly higher than usual. He wasn't going to walk into an X-factor zone without it though. He stood in the lobby as the bodyguard walked into the office. In the silence of the antechamber, a transparent woman appeared before him. Her blood red hair fell over his shoulders and highlighted her pale complexion. Bones covered her body, hiding her flesh from sight. A teasing smile touched her lips, and she had her right hand on her swaying hips. "Ooooh. What do we have here? Gonna try to get some brownie points? Maybe strike the Shinigami by attacking their subjects? How cute. Terribly cute. I can't wait for you to use more of my power...it always amazes me. Maybe one day you'll let me take control? Of course I won't give it back, but...That's the price of power."

He ignored her. He usually did.

She stepped closer and placed her left hand on his chest and pouted. "Aww. Not talking to me again, mon amour?" She chuckled as Vai'el looked away from her. Her lips parted to let loose a giggle of delight before she spun away from him and placed her ear against the door. "I wonder if they are going to just attack you. I wonder if they will force you to strike them down...I would love it if that happened. Maybe then, I could have your body. Maybe then I could finally leave this Hell that Yuki calls a home. Tch...Ah well. I guess I'll leave you alone...for now. I'll always be here, cutie." She grinned at him. It wasn't warm, friendly, or caring. It carried a silent threat.

Vai'el rolled her eyes as she vanished.

The Guard sighed as the Vizard took an instant to pass him and appear at the doors of the building. He hung his head low and said "Vous ne serez pas surpris si vous savez l'homme." The man then too used his bringer light to bring himself to the man in an instant. The two then boarded an elevator and headed towards the Presidents office.

All this went on while Mendoa finished his meal. In the time three minutes that the Guard left, Mendoza has finished the Lobster lunch and had made his way to wait patiently in his office for his fullbringers return with the guest. Mendoza's mind was swimming with thoughts as to what the cause for thi mans appearance was. The Fullbringers had not seen or heard from a Vizard... well, ever. Personally, Mendoza thought they were extinct. But to show up here and now, at such a critical turning point in the fullbringer history could not be brushed off as anything short of important. The fullbringer themselves were only weeks away from discovering the whereabouts of Terra, A feat that had consumed Mendoza as of late.

He sat back in his rather large leather chair behind his desk made of pure mahogany. The deep stainwork expertly applied was work nearly a fortune in itself. Mendoza's whole office was this way. The rest of the office was lined in bookshelves packed to the brim with books or tomes converted to books. Most were based on lore and history, as well as business and philosophical entries. They were all rather old and leather bound giving them a distinct smell to the room. The Carpet was a navy blue while the walls were caoted in dark grey wallpaper that was nearly black. A single, large window stretched the back of the office that was behind Mendoza. It looked out over the whole city and was becoming more and more frequently a favorite of Mendoza's. The concepts of life had become obsession of his lately, whenever he wasn't partying or doing work that is.

He felt the guard arrive before he entered. He knew that the Vizard was with him as well. "What are you waiting for. Send him in." Mendoza scoffed at the Guard. He was annoyed at his lack of common sense. Granted that Mendoza didn't accept people disobeying him, but some things were too obvious to miss, even for a guard. It was pretty clear Mendoza wanted to see the man and was getting impatient by the second. He wondered what the man must have been thinking to make him wait any longer.

The Guard bowed in respect and left the room again, stopping just outside the door. He turned to face Vai'el and said sternly "The President will see you now."

The Vizard stood still facing a painting in the room. His hands were clasped gently behind back. Vai'el's head was tilted in curiosity. He always found painting, and other creative works, to be a source of curiosity. There was always such emotion put into these things. For a man who understood emotions, but had an ever decreasing list of things that caused him to feel emotions, they were treasures. His thoughts were disrupted by the bodyguard as he spoke. He tilted his head to him, signalling that he heard the man, but he didn't actually respond. In fact, he looked back at the painting for a moment before turning on his heels and walking into the room. The bodyguard was not someone Vai'el had any intention of concerning himself with. He walked into the room and was suddenly struck with a very simple realization: In this room, they were on equal ground. Neither one of them knew what the other's hidden power was, but that aside...this man could control the entire room from his spot. That would be an issue for someone who wasn't Vai'el, but it didn't change the fact that this was really not the best spot for anything negative to occur. As he heard the doors behind him close, he would take a few steps forward, stopping about twenty feet shy of the rather large desk.

Why anyone needed a large desk, he didn't know. Even during his time as a captain, one of the first things he did was get a smaller desk. If he took notice of anything else in the room, and he did, he didn't give a hint that he did. Vai'el stood in a very relaxed manner, but anyone with half a brain could tell that despite his relaxed look, this was a being used to fighting. He had an air about him in that regard. It was in the way he walked, the way he stood, the way his purple eyes bore into the human before him. He stood there with his left hand in his pocket still, and in fact it had not left since he appeared. His eyes never left the human before him. This was the leader. In truth...he was expecting something a bit different. He didn't know what, but this guys just isn't what he pictured. It didn't matter though. As long as he was who he claimed to be, that's all that mattered to Vai'el.

The Vizard didn't say anything though. He would just continue to look at the man, sizing him up from his position. This distance was nothing really. This was...laughable at best. For people like them, Vai'el could have been on his lap and they would both still be within striking distance. This was a mere formality, and respect for personal space. He always found the idea of positioning to be laughable. They could cross a mile faster than any car, or the worlds fastest non-super powered track star. So what did it matter if someone was a "safe" distance in front of the desk? It's why Vai'el didn't have a desk anymore that separated him from guests. He merely had a chair. Pretentious, some may say because it was mere akin to a throne, but still. It served a purpose. Removing pseudo-barriers. Removing that thought from the foreground of his mind, he debating speaking, but decided to remain quite. If the man was ready for him, he was sure he'd be notified.

Looking at him now, he could tell why he sent his bodyguard. He just had that aura about him. Someone who had staff for a reason. Finally able to see the man, he could get a solid idea of what kind of man he was. Though all facts would wait until he could actually converse with him. He was sure of two things though, only one of them would prove to be true though, this man would either enjoy the silence. seeing it as a moment to establish dominance here, or he would be annoyed by Vai'el's silence and demand to know why he was here. Vai'el believed it to be the latter. Only time would tell though, and so the platinum haired Vizard would wait in content silence for the Fullbringer to make a move. He did, however, wonder how the Fullbringer would perceive him. Was he what the man had expected? Vai'el was a lithe male, obvious muscle tone, but still a bit on the thin side. With his mask on he only showed a pair of purple eyes surrounded by darkness, and his platinum hair with the one small braid hanging over his shoulder would be the only noticeable head features. Then there was his attire. The open black button down, the white undershirt with black pants and shoes. His Zanpakuto securely strapped to his left leg. He was certainly not what most would think of when they thought Vizard, and it was in this moment that Vai'el wondered what it would be like to have telepathy. He supposed he'd have to resign himself to just watching the other's expression and body language. Unfortunate, but that was usually the case with everything. Be they partners or targets...

Mendoza Eyed the man as he entered the room. His face was stoic as he look at the man before him. He took in every detail, his body type; on the thinner side with clear muscular growth, his gait; someone who carried himself around as one such as himself, what he wore; the simple black button down and white undershirt accented by simple black pants and shoes, how he held his hand in his pocket in a leisurely way as if he owned the place, everything. What got Mendoza's attention the most was the mans mask. Its white shell expertly accented with red lines gave a hint of surrealism to the being before him. It was odd seeing a mask on something so...dormant. Usually, the Fullbringers only dealt with hollows. Seeing something wear a mask so casually was quite unexpected... and rude. Here Mendoza was minding his own business while a stranger can knocking on his door ready for war without even the slightest hint of his intentions or even greetings for that matter. People like this made Mendoza sick to his stomach. The mans silence struck accord with him as well. It was almost taunting. Mendoza didn't enjoy games.

Then Mendoza leaned back in his chair. He crooked his neck to the side and eyed the man the same way he was doing to him. He then straightened his head and set his eyes on the purple hues for pupils that lay hidden behind the mans mask. They didn't hold the answers he sought. The man was dressed for war but hadn't done more than flair his reiatsu in a meaningless taunt. Mendoza returned to his original thought, he hated people like this. So he finally figured he would speak first, this stranger was not the only thing he had to take care of for today after all.

" In the civilized world, guests introduce themselves. Not only that but they also know how to use doors and be polite instead of flaring their reiatsu around like children." He said with a stern and rather upset voice. He clearly showed is disdain for the Vizard infront of him. He only left a short pause before he continued. " What do you want, I haven't the time for idle chatter." He finished while leaning forward, placing his elbows on his desk and clasping his left hand on his right infront of his face. He then turned his left hand over in a "there you are" gesture and returned to the rested position.

Mendoza now gave his full attention to the being. Just incase, He had already begun to manipulate every single object in the room, tugging and pulling at their souls ever so gently that they didn't even move. But if one sudden sign of hostility were to show from the vizard the room would turn into a chaotic turret of destruction quicker that what the man would consider possible. The influence was so subtle that no one would be able to notice, except maybe another fullbringer. A council member perhaps, but not a vizard who knew nothing of Soul Manipulation.  So Mendoza waited for the man to speak with great interest as to what brought the stranger to his doorstep.

Of course you're highness

Is what he thought to himself, his eyes remained dead though. He could feel the shift in power in the room. He knew something was afoot, but didn't know what. Was it his Fullbring? Was this man arming his weapon? Or mayhaps he was manipulating the room? Maybe the Fullbringers have some other sort power akin to Kido? All he knew was that something was going on. Time in the Dangai didn't do much for him to study the other races unfortunately, and as a Shinigami he never had much time to observe anyone. He was a volunteered 'guardian' for a race of beings that really don't need protecting. Now he would pay the price unless he played his cards right. This was to be handled like an assassination mission. With poise and finesse, with a sturdy position, but fluid enough to go with any sudden changes. He was asked to speak and so he would. "My...apologies. However, you must understand that someone like me just marching through the front doors of your building wouldn't exactly be in my best interest. Not many humans have seen my kind...Not only that, but most kings prefer to have the first word."

He shrugged a bit before continuing.

"My name is Vai'el Grace. My being here is for a simple reason really. Your race is being suffocated...You are wolves forced to believe they are sheep. Of course...some of your kind have evolved beyond such a position, but the Shinigami would see you all remain where you are. Beneath them. You and I know better though...we know what you are capable of, and we know you don't need protecting...don't we?" He posed it as a question, but it was clearly rhetorical. Vai'el had spoken with a flat voice, emotionless, void of any and all signs of humanity. Under that mask, those eyes just continued to look upon the human, never wavering. He stood perfectly still as well. He needed a bit more information on this man. He needed to test the waters before he could jump right in. "Imagine where you could be if your kind had been allowed to flourish without Shinigami oppression? Though many would be content to say they aren't repressed by the self-proclaimed 'Defenders of Humanity', the simple fact is you are, you have been, and there's a chance you will be in the days to come. They do their best to kill any and all Hollows before you have a chance to deal with the threat yourselves. They coddle your kind like children, babies even. Just so that they can pat themselves on the back for doing a good deed for the day..."

He waved his right hand dismissively, as if uninterested in the ideals and feelings of the Shinigami.

"That being said...I'd rather fight with the humans, not against them and not for them. To limit a species like you..." --he walked over to the book shelf and tilted his head slightly, as if reading them all-- "...is laughable." He walked back to his spot and shrugged casually. "Of course it's up to you...Don't mistake my words either. I do not mean to recruit you for outright war against the Shinigami. That's just foolish. Rather...consider this an offer of an alliance. I'm giving you, and others, the chance to reclaim what's rightfully yours." He gestured to the world outside the window.

Vai'el meant everything he said. He had no reason to lie to this man. If he was to get what he wanted, then it meant being open and honest. There would be no fallback for such actions. The worst this man could do was say no. If he did, that was fine. Vai'el had all of Europe and Asia to work with as well. If he said yes, it would only make his desires that much easier to attain, and he would be that much closer to something relating to happiness.

Mendoza listened intently to the vizard as he spoke. What the man was saying was true, no doubt, but what sparked mendoza's interest the most was this mans interest in the fullbringers. It was true the fullbringers had been deemed a "protected race" by the shinigami and they had been protecting them until the early half of the century. Since then however, when Xtinction started to flourish at its finest, shinigami interactions had all but ended. The fullbringers took the opportunity to grow and develop on their own. It was then that they became the superpower that they now were.

However, the vizard was going off of outdated information. Hollow control had been handled primarily by fullbringers for the past 50 years. The reason why no hollows were flocking to the tower they resided in now was due to the fullbringers killing them quickly and effectively. The local shinigami now only preformed konso and left the hollow extermination to them.

There was another bit of information in vai'el's words that pecked Mendoza's interest. The fact that he was not the first, and probably not the last, that this vizard planned on "joining" with. He assumed the man meant to join with the bount and quincy. Joining with the arrancar was too low, even for a vizard. Either way, what was this mans true agenda? This puzzled mendoza. The only reason to gain allies was to wage war. But why now? There was too many questions, so mendoza decided to be forthright.

"You speak like that was rehearsed." mendoza said as he leaned back in his chair. He took a moments pause before he continued. "its no secret the fullbringers have been undermined on several occasions, but the past few decades have changed many things. We receive less and less support and observation from the shinigami. Within a few years, if not sooner, we will be completely independent with or without your help. So what im asking is simple. What do you want of us? We are not a military organization, we have few warriors. We do however have resources. As a business organization, we have accumulated a great deal of wealth and power within the human world. Almost nothing is beyond our grasp in this plane of existence.  With that said, i am wondering which you need to have whatever advantage you are desiring." mendoza finished, speaking plainly and without emotion. His voice was firm and slow however, making sure the vizard understood his words carefully. He hadnt wished to hide anything from the man. Business was afterall mendoza's strong suit. Now he just waited for the mans return to his rather straight to the point answer.

The Vizard stood there listening. Something lit inside of him. He felt a warmth inside of him, and he wasn't sure how he felt about it. Part of him thinks that he missed this...the bureaucratic discussions, the back and forth, he hadn't had time to engage in such conversations in a long time. The man had a few good points, but he didn't know the Shinigami as intimately as he did. The point was moot though. No sense in debating the Shinigami's self-importance. That wasn't why he was here, and he wouldn't turn it into something that could ruin this.

Vai'el had taken notice of the Fullbringer's expansion. They had exploded, as humanity often does, and it was...impressive. Though human history was littered with explosions in presence, and they all ended in a terrible fall. Vai'el predicted their fall would be due to exactly what Mendoza had just said. They were a business organization. Not military. Which would only serve to strengthen his own resolve. Mendoza was sharp. He was clever. A man after Vai'el's own cold and dead heart. Though he, Vai'el, was still here. Which meant the Fullbring either had need of conversation, and he highly doubted that, or he saw opportunity. Vai'el believed it to be the latter. He was, after all, a businessman. Partnering up with the Vizards had a multitude of benefits and he was sure that Mendoza's mind was currently running through a list of pros and cons.

"We can gain a lot from each other. Not only that, but rather...the entirety of the world. You have a point...humanity has gained much in the time it has been away from the Shinigami's overly protective eyes, but...It is as you said. You are a business. So imagine what someone like you could do with an arrangement with someone like me? On top of that, as you probably surmised, I don't intend on stopping here. That would just be silly. Every race on this planet has been wronged by the Shinigami. Of course...that isn't what will bind others to me and vice versa. A bond formed by hate is destined to fail. What I want is not so easily put into words...so let's just focus on what you can gain from this."

The Vizard approached the desk and took a seat in one of the chairs. As he sat down, he released his mask. The mask fell apart in clumps of reishi, showing Vai'el's smooth face. It was about what one would have expected so far. Emotionless. Stoic. His now icy blue eyes, hid behind a set of platinum bangs and stared into Mendoza's eyes. He crossed his right leg over his left and set his hands in his lap neatly. "So tell me...what can I do for you? Of course I know what I can bring to the table...no sense in saying what I can do. Tell me, what I can do for you."

Ooc: sorry for the delay, my weekend was pretty busy.

Mendoza sat patiently as the vizard spoke. The man before him was cunning, that much was for sure. Mendoza had discussed business for the latter half of his life and knew its inner workings. Vai'el had navigated around his question with common prompts and and banter. What the vizard didnt know was that mendoza was more forthcoming than that. He preferred his questions answered directly, instead of this evasive style answering that the vizard.

The open ended question as to what the vizard could do for the fullbringers left mendoza curious. It was true that Xtinction wasnt a military organization, but that was what gave the group its potency. It was under the radar so to speak. As soon as the fullbringers established a branch of military, they would no doubt be assaulted by the quincy and bount.

The good thing about vai'el was that he had already, or was planning on, discussing with them as well. Ending the Blood War however would be nothing short of a miracle. One that mendoza wasnt sure the vizard could provide.

On the other hand, this was a perfect opportunity for mendoza to bring his plans to their true potential. But the vizards goals were what troubled him. No one ever offered everything for nothing.  Everything was always had an equal price or favor and mendoza had to take that into account.

As soon as vai'el finished and removed his mask, mendoza relinquished his control over the room. The souls of the objects quickly returned to their original forms lightened the no doubt heavy atmosphere of the room. Fullbring gave that effect, despite it being hard to actually pin point what was happening. Mendoza folded in hands the same way vai'el was, mostly in an attempt to make him feel more comfortable and open up about his plan abit more. Then man then spoke plainly and simply as before.

"My major concern over the past few years has been the growing intensity of the Blood War. No doubt you have seen the devastation the other humans are causing. The fullbringers have been excluded solely because of our organizations stand points. If i try to turn the fullbringers into a military power, i would no doubt be caught in the crossfire. You could say what i seek is protection of sorts. We need time to convert our forces into something more solid, something best done when uninterrupted. But ofcourse, one can only ask for what one is willing to sacrifice. So Mr. Grace, what is it you would have me sacrifice?"

PostSubject: Re: Bussines Call [Private (Vai and Mendoza); ask to join]   Bussines Call [Private (Vai and Mendoza); ask to join] Icon_minitimeTue Feb 25, 2014 8:06 pm

There it was. The room's atmosphere had suddenly relaxed. It was as if the space around him was finally allowed to rest. He had watched this man carefully. There had been no changes in his appearance, and he could not see a weapon. Nothing moved. Nothing even flinched. Yet suddenly there was just a severe lack of pressure in the area. He was fifty percent sure the man had released his control over the room, but there was still a significant portion of himself that held to the opinion that the man had sealed his Fullbring. True...there wasn't an explosion of power, there was not a noticeable change in his appearance and he could not sense any change in this man's power...He brushed the thought aside though. He wouldn't let this bother him, why should he? He wouldn't let his guard down, but he would no longer concern himself with a power that may or may not be there and that he certainly could not see.

Though those thoughts stormed across Vai'el's mind, his face remained picture-esque. It was calm, stoic, and the smile remained planted on his lips. He did, however, arch a brow about half way through the conversation. The man doubted his ability to end a war as old as time...Fair enough. Very much so. Though the two enemies did have one glaring issue, this war HAD been going on for as long as time itself. It was either time to call it quits and make nice, or to just blow up all of the land. This war was getting neither race anywhere. He had yet to meet either of the men, but his scouts had reported that they seemed to be the most reasonable leaders that both races have had in a while. So he planned on using that to his advantage.

His brow dropped seconds later.

Mendoza proved to have a solid point, but not one that Vai'el hadn't already considered. He wasn't a man to take no for an answer. Results were either obtained, or he didn't return home. That's just how he was. He seemed to be making progress with Mendoza, the man was at least toying with the idea...which is more than he had when he first arrived. The Fullbringer clearly had his organization in check. As a business, it was true, they remained under the radar of more hostile organizations. The second they are seen building their forces up, someone would be bound to jump on them. That's just how it happened. Vai'el didn't want that though. He wanted them to do what they do best, remain unseen. Humans, since the dawn of life itself, had been an X Factor. Mendoza seemed to take this idea and run with it. Vai'el liked that about this man. He always seemed to take a step, and have no less than five other steps planned for fifty different outcomes of the first step. That was a trait he could admire, coming from a division that specialized in anticipation...

Which is why the man's words struck him so nicely.

Vai'el almost never answered important questions directly, and this man had placed a nice 'Return to Sender' stamp on the Vizard's previous answer. All Vai'el had heard, at the end, was the same question originally asked to him, just in a different language and with more focus on what Vai'el would ask of the humans. He took a moment, and looked beyond Mendoza to the world outside. His blue eyes flicked back to the man, and he slowly parted his lips to speak, clearly picking his words carefully. "I...don't want you to sacrifice anything...In fact, I would prefer if you remained a business. I am unsure if you are aware, but the Shinigami have recently gotten out of a war with the Arrancar. No...that's wrong...they have ended the most recent battle with them. Ending the war is just a silly though. Nonetheless, if you begin to solidify your forces, become something more, the odds of the Shinigami or Arrancar diverting attention away from each other and looking to you will increase. We can't have that yet. Not until Europe and Asia are safely in my pocket...At which point, your freedom will expand. Why should you concern yourself with matters that will simply handle themselves?" He shrugged nonchalantly.

"Besides...I came to you first for a reason. What I am planning means that for the first time, the entire world's major players will be sitting pretty under one umbrella. You and I simply must think alike, no? You do business, and I did, as far as anyone is concerned, assassinations. One common principle between them is you often don't get a second chance. If you botch an assassination, you can bet everything you own that the target will either triple their defenses, or fall off the grid. Similarly, if you pass up a deal you don't often get a second chance at it. I want the Quincy and the Bount to realize this. To understand that what I am offering doesn't get offered twice. Unity, power, control. With you on my side, that will be made all the clearer for them. You already know what you can get out of this arrangement. I doubt you could get such an arrangement elsewhere. We've already established that the Shinigami would sooner control and limit you and your people, than work with you, the Arrancar would sooner eat you than share a table with you, and like you said already...you cannot afford to place yourself in between the war over seas. So allow me to do it for you. You'll have all the benefits, with no fall back. Once the world stands as one, the Arrancar and Shinigami will be hard pressed to stake any sort of claim anywhere here."

He paused for a moment to allow the man to picture such a world...

"All I ask, for now, is that when the time comes you provide the Quincy with the proper funds to build my people a new home. Such a thing can be done on their own, sure, but it would go so much quicker with your influence. A little favor, in comparison to what I'm offering you...Wouldn't you agree?" He man continued to speak in a stoic voice, he was obviously picking his words carefully, and with good reason. What he offered was something never before seen in the world of the living. The world could be burning and all three races were still likely to stand alone. Together though, with their individual fortes unified, there would be little that could stop them. With the backing of the Vizards, they were that much stronger. The man clearly wasn't interested in limiting anyone, in fact he had even encouraged Mendoza to proceed business as usual, sans the military might bit, and despite his flat voice he seemed sincere about it all. All he had asked was for a home, and even the lowest of the low deserved a home.

PostSubject: Re: Bussines Call [Private (Vai and Mendoza); ask to join]   Bussines Call [Private (Vai and Mendoza); ask to join] Icon_minitimeThu Feb 27, 2014 10:32 am

As the conversation continued, mendoza was making mental notes about the man before him. Like himself, the vizard never gave an inch unless it was needed to take 6 more. He also remained excellently composed the entire time, which meant mendoza had to rely on assumptions rather than body language to see if this man was being truthful. It was much more risky than what the man wished.
Vaiel was a sly individual. Him approaching mendoza the way he did with all this convinced him of that and mendoza was being weary of him. This was the same man after all that arrived with his mask donned, a clear display of power.

Now his mind moved on to what the man was asking. A home. This puzzled mendoza the most, it was the first thing the man said that didnt make sense. The vizards had lived in the dangai for the better half of two thousand years, to ask for a better place now was strange. Especially considering the nature of the dangai and its seclusion. It was the perfect haven. Why give something like that up?
Menodza figured the mans answer wasnt one at all. Simply words to please his ears and drop the subject. He was also curious why the man insisted that the fullbringers stay a business for the moment. It all didnt sit right with him. But as with vaiel just moments earlier, his face never changed from its constant glare as if trying to read ones soul.

Then it hit mendoza, a way for both men to get what they want. And a way to insure the vizards dont stab him in the back. Something, as the man mentioned, was a common trait among assassins. "your request seems reasonable enough. I can gather the funds needed to build just about anything. But i offer an alternative to my previous statement.in exchange for my resources, i would like the vizard to faery my fullbrings to and from the dangai. There we can train and build up our army without the other races taking notice due to the dangai's isolation. This will also provide stability for us in the future if your plans to convince the other two leaders fail; as well as give you reinforcements should you need it." mendoza said slowly but with a hint of excitement in his voice. He wanted to seem like he really wanted this to be pass, but not enough that he would do anything to allow it to happen. The emotion was a perfect fake however. This was just good business after all.

PostSubject: Re: Bussines Call [Private (Vai and Mendoza); ask to join]   Bussines Call [Private (Vai and Mendoza); ask to join] Icon_minitimeThu Feb 27, 2014 7:13 pm

Vai'el had seen that one coming before he even set foot in the building. That is to say, he had already planned for such a request and had something a tad better in mind. He put a pin in that thought for now and watched the Human as he expressed his excitement. He hated that. Emotions. He was hoping to get through this without faking anything. Whether the man before him was forcing the emotion or not didn't occur to the Vizard. He didn't care. The Vizard wasn't without consideration though. He returned the emotion with a gentle smile, warm, friendly, honest. It was a flawless fake. Over a thousand years of faking emotions made someone incredibly good at passing off feelings. "Oh don't misunderstand me. I want you to develop your military might. It just wouldn't be wise to do so now, specifically here, and certainly not under my eyes. The Shinigami would get suspicious of such big changes happening like dominoes, and I don't need their investigation leading back to me. Not yet.

One thing bothered Vai'el concerning Mendoza. He was heavily fixated on this military might thing. Why? True, he was merely one handshake away from a deal with the Vizards...but that didn't explain anything. Vai'el may have indirectly touched upon them not being a military power, but the way Mendoza gripped that idea and ran with it made Vai'el feel there was more here than he was being let in on. He couldn't be concerned with that though. Anything Mendoza was hiding was his business. As long as it didn't step on Vai'el's plans, Mendoza could do whatever he pleased. Everyone had an agenda. Everyone. Always. Without fail. Had. An. Agenda. That was the Vizard's thoughts on people. It's why he only had two friends his entire afterlife. Those two people laid everything out to him all the time. They didn't so much as sneeze without telling Vai'el their life story. He respected that. He was fine with calling them friends. In his mind, friends were people who had nothing to hide. Who did not hide anything. He liked those people. There were a few people in his ranks who he could see calling friends, but until that point in time...every being he met was a tool who had a use. There was no shame in that, it's just how the world worked. Everyone had an agenda, especially Vai'el. Clearly, this man had something as well...what it was, who knows. Vai'el had anticipated this much though, so his response was spoken like someone who had been waiting to say something. It was, as the man had said when Vai'el first spoke, well rehearsed.

"As for your request, I wouldn't dream of asking you to partake in something and have you reap none of the rewards. So allow me to amend your part of the deal. Back our new home, and your people will have direct access to our base, and may be taken on hand as...guardians of such. Between the four of us, this base can and will be built. It will be home to my people, ruled by myself, but accessible by you three, Fullbringers, Bount, and Quincy, via an assigned Vizard. Not only will all aforementioned races have access to the base, but they will also be responsible for specific tasks to help keep things running smoothly. Since we lack the size of the Shinigami, we must have those who would choose to temporarily reside, or live in, this new area help us with things. As Fullbringers, you would be apart of our security force. Your abilities to manipulate the structure of things can prove to be very...useful. Something I would like to take full advantage of."

He waited for a moment before continuing.

"Don't think I mean to take control of your men. I wish for anything but. Your people are still just that; yours. I would merely ask that if any of your people chose to live in the Dangai with us, or choose to spend some time there, that the time they are there is spent wisely...i.e. pulling their own weight. I am sure you understand. I am working on long term plans, not running a charity organization..."

He rolled his eyes a bit at the end there, as if charity was a detestable idea. To him, it was. Charity was something Vai'el would never do. If you were strong and trying to be stronger, he would help you. If you were strong and down on your luck, he would help you. If you were weak and comfortable in your pitiful state, then he would not spare even a first thought helping you avoid your fate. Vai'el didn't help those who couldn't help themselves. He did not do things out of the kindness of his cold and dead heart. To him, charity was akin to a disease. Giving a weakling who wanted to stay weak made them a target for the strong who had to scream and claw their way to the top. So he would let them die. It was the more merciful thing for him to do. If they managed to overcome the odds, then they would either realize their own weakness and become stronger, or they would simply remain where they are and be snuffed out by another individual. Either way. Vai'el would play no role in their survival.

He felt like Mendoza would understand that line of reasoning, but kept his thoughts to himself. Speaking of which...

"I had mentioned I do not desire outright war with the Shinigami. I did not lie. I don't. I find war to be something...detestable. Though there will come a time, I am sure, when we will cross paths. I don't fear the Arrancar...they have little to gain from eliminating my people. We are not their biggest threat, since we are not their hunters. The Shinigami, however, wouldn't hesitate to strike my kind down given a single chance. I just want to make clear, that in this deal is the understanding that your people will support my kind if anyone should ever get into a skirmish with one of them."

Vai'el had said all he could say for now If the man accepted these terms and conditions then he would be on his way across the seas. Ending the war over there was going to be nothing short of a miracle, but he knew he could do it. Even if he couldn't, there was always assassination and replacing them with puppets he could control, deepening his hold on the Eastern nation. He would rather not do that though, such a thing would cost him time he couldn't afford. Every second he spent here and not there was time he would never get back. Every day that goes by where he cannot make a move, is a day that he has to find a way to get back. So he hoped that Mendoza would comply with him. He couldn't waste time like that. He simply couldn't. Getting the Earth's leaders in line was merely the first step in a very long ordeal. Getting them all to play nicely while his base was constructed was a whole other issue. One that he was confident would show itself to be a minor issue when the time comes.

His face had long since settled into it's typical stoic features. He shifted slightly, sitting up and extending his hand across the table. "So...Can we the Vizards count on the support of the Fullbringers just as you may count on us?" Vai'el hated to rush things, but he needed this solidified as soon as possible. He could only imagine the Quincy and Bounts going at it as they sat here speaking peacefully. The last thing he needed was for something to happen over there at this very moment that the other party couldn't forgive.

Bussines Call [Private (Vai and Mendoza); ask to join] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Bussines Call [Private (Vai and Mendoza); ask to join]   Bussines Call [Private (Vai and Mendoza); ask to join] Icon_minitimeFri Feb 28, 2014 12:51 am

So there it was then. The Vizard had no intention of progressing Fullbringer society, at least not in Mendoza's eyes. What Vai'el offered was what the Fullbringer already had; jobs, peace of mind, and comfortable living conditions. What the man didn't know was that Mendoza didn't have the time to wait around for the most safest route towards securing Fullbringer militia. Fullbringers were the only race that didn't have extended lifespans, the Vizard must have known such a simple fact. What the man was proposing was to build something now and wait to build the proper forces to confront the shinigami. For what exactly, Mendoza had no idea. As far as he was concerned, the shinigami were more allies than enemies. Despite their seldom hindrance, the shinigami had been the most hospitable of the races towards fullbringers. All this Mendoza thought calmly and stoic as the vizard.

Now Mendoza thought hard on what to do next. The Vizard was eager for acceptance but Mendoza needed something he could use. Something tangible. Something that would actually be beneficent to him. More importantly, something the Vizard would accept. This opportunity was something he couldn't pass up after all. Mendoza then sat back in his chair for a moment. Clearly a sign to Vai'el that he was thinking about the offer. In fact he was, but he needed a few more seconds to go over some of the details. He then finally came to a conclusion.

"Mr. Grace, I will be plain with you. I have no interest in what your offering me. My company provides everything you have mentioned. We have jobs, we have homes, hell most members of Xtinction can buy whatever their hearts desire. The Bount and Quincy don't disturb us, nor do the arrancar for that matter. Everyone has enemies, except us. Truth be told, I don't give a shit weither or not the shinigami allow us to build an army. It will happen. And soon." Mendoza said coldly. He aura had changed drastically; no longer the stoic man but the one with rage and desire in his eyes. Mendoza wanted to be sure the man didn't take him a fool. As such, he acted more like he normally did. A man destined for greatness and power. A destiny given to him, one he was selected for.

He then continued before the Vizard managed to even blink. "You will either grant my fullbringers full access to the Dagai world or you won't receive so much as a dime in funding for your little project. Yes we will be on your land and require aid coming too and from; but we will abide by your laws while we are there. We will not live in your city; or eat your food. I don't even want a vizard and fullbringer to so much as speak to one another unless it is necessary. We will simply use the lands for training and that is all. I don't care how much attention it may or may not draw towards you. If you can't grant me this, then leave my office now for you have no use for me. I grow weary of games." His words were cold and sharp. His terms were clear however. There was a reason why he asked for what he did. He didn't care what the vizard wanted anymore than the other way around. It was a simple matter of what can be gained from it all. The Vizard needed funding and Mendoza needed a secluded training grounds. Both would win from that. What wouldn't do is an alternative living grounds working under vizards.

Mendoza had now leaned back over his desk. His left arm lay on the surface and the right rested gripping the edge of the wood. He eyed the man sitting before him. Mendoza's ultimatum had no doubt shaken the Vizards understanding of the meeting. Mendoza wanted to see it in his eyes though. He wanted to see even the slightest of shifts. He was always told as a child; "If you cannot trust a mans eyes, you should not trust them at all.". So far, that statement held true.

The Vizard paused for a moment. He didn't want to rush this. It was a delicate situation...He needed to handle this with extreme care or it all fell apart, much like an assassination mission. Did he NEED the Fullbringers and their money? No. Not at all. It merely meant that he didn't have to wait. He was, however, a trained killer. Waiting was something he could do and do well. He also knew an asset when he saw one though. If he didn't have to wait, if he didn't have to bide his time, if he didn't have to do anything...then he wouldn't. Contingency plans for this situation were already cycling through his head. He had plenty of options at this point. He wasn't getting what he wanted, but he was getting what he needed. The bottom line was being met and that's all that mattered really. If they didn't want security, fine. That was their business. They didn't have enemies? Funny. The humans, of all races, had enemies. Their natural enemy was the Arrancar, and their spiritual enemy was the Shinigami. It's just the way things were. It seemed they were getting complacent in their years. If Mendoza wished it to be that way, far be it from Vai'el to interfere.

One way or another, Vai'el would have the pieces he desired. Besides...the humans role in things could be...amended.

There was still the matter of the way Mendoza spoke. Vai'el knew he had to display some form of emotion. Disappointment? Sure. He could go with that. A slight frown, furrowed brows, and eyes filled with a sense of sadness. His face lost it's emotionless position, and quickly became something that resembled a child when mommy told him daddy wasn't coming back...ever. He opened his mouth as if to speak and then closed it. It would seem as if for once the Vizard was truly speechless. There was that thousand years of emotional projection practice hard at work again. There wasn't an emotion he couldn't display, and there wasn't an emotion he displayed that could be seen through. Everything was sincere, down to the little microexpressions. He had made up his mind the moment the human had said 'Mr. Grace' though. Hell, he had his mind made up the second he stepped out above the skies of New York. This was all just a formality for him. His mind was already thinking about how best to dissolve centuries of hatred and get them to play nice for Vai'el's sake. Like good little children.

He cleared his throat, and placed his hand back in his lap. His eyes drifted slightly passed Mendoza as if in thought, weighing out the pros and the cons. Slowly he looked back to Mendoza. "Obey the laws I set forth. That includes, but is not limited to, defending of the land in the event of an attack. Since anyone attacking wouldn't exactly be selective in who they hit. It's more of a security law than anything else...If you do not wish to live there, that is, of course, your choice. Truthfully speaking, it's a minor set back..." --he was lying, but you'd never guess by looking at him-- "...I do hope you'll change your mind in the future. Of course if you don't, that is up to you. Now then...I will have the the Quincy Leader send you a bill for what they will need. I'll be in touch. If you must reach me, the Blood Lord would be the best way to reach me. His kind have a knack for going where they please." He didn't want to keep his voice too steady, so he allowed it to waver a bit, but by the end he managed to clear his throat and speak with confidence again.

He stood up and as he stood, his hand waved over his face. He didn't need the motion to don his mask, but anything to keep anyone who wasn't a Vizard unaware worked for him. The mask went on, and suddenly his Shinigami reiatsu was infested with a Hollow feel to it. "Pleasure doing business with you..." His voice echoed with that of his female Hollow counterpart. He turned for a moment to tap the air, opening up a small garganta. Despite the vortex look to it, nothing was disturbed in the office. He turned back and extended his hand for a shake once more.

Thoughts swam through mendoza's head for a moment. The most common one among them; liar. No one who spoke the way Vai'el did would give ground that easy. It was what he wanted yes, but Mendoza wanted to see resistance, not acceptance. The man wanted more than what he asked for. This man was probably up to even more than Mendoza himself. His approach was much different than what Mendoza would have taken but still. Both men were involved in shady business. Mendoza would make it a personal interest to find out his. For now however, he would play his part. He would give the money freely, with the same enthusiasm as he had proposed the offer with.

The mans interest into protecting the Dangai world for intruders was quite strange. As far as Mendoza knew, which was a fairly good deal, was that the Dangai had never been invaded by any force...ever. To suggest needed additional reinforcements implied the need for them. If Mendoza was going to send his people to war, it would be his own. Not whatever this man was conspiring in his twisted mind of his. The fact the man gave legitimate emotions and reactions only made the man appear that much deadlier. Either Vai'el wasn't the businessman Mendoza thought he was, or he was much more deadly. Until proven otherwise, he would assume the latter. As such, he would proceed with the uptmost caution...and quite possible raise his personal guard. One wasn't too careful in this brutish world.

Mendoza then stood and walked toward the Vizard. He noticed the man donned his mask, but it seemed a requirement for him to open the small garganta. As such, Mendoza paid it no mind. He would act the business partner, but he would be extremely weary of this man. His stature was tall and regal as he walked, as one would expect one who just got what he wanted. He then took Vai'els hand and shook it, grasping firmly.

" It's a pleasure to be working with you Mr. Grace. I know we will both benefit from this deal greatly. I look forward to our next visit." Mendoza said in a calmer voice than before. It was laxed and gave the effect of him being the winner of the conversation. exactly what he wanted the man to believe. He would give no suspicion to the man that he didn't trust him. In fact, he wanted to make it clear that the man had his full trust. "If you ever wish to get away for awhile, I have plenty to offer. Please feel free to stop by anytime. My name is Mendoza Grant. Simply tell any member of my staff You have business with me and they will let you in." He said while placing his arm around the Vizard lightly. The display was to let Vai'el relax and show that he himself was relaxed. A common business technique, but one often confused with pleasantries. He then removed his arm and stepped back, allowing the Vizard to enter the garganta as he wished.

Vai'el's purple eyes followed the human as he stepped around the counter, he nodded at the offer but did not verbalize anything. A nod would suffice after all at this point. He presumed that Mendoza offered that as a courtesy, and less as an offer that he hoped Vai'el would actually take him up on. He paid no mind to how Mendoza spoke, Vai'el rarely did. He merely listened to the words. In this situation, it didn't enlighten him to anything. A deal was made, that's all that Vai'el cared about. He was sure that Mendoza and him would have future dealings, after all having a business to call upon did wonders for one's personal projects. He wouldn't be in any rush to return to this place though. New York gave him such a headache. "Thank you, Mr. Grant..." He nodded once more in parting before stepping through the portal. It sealed itself after him, leaving no trace that he was ever even there.
