Name: Shinkai no Gōon (Trans: Roar of Deep-Sea)

An underwater environment, Arius had panicked when he first entered his Inner World, trying to hold his breath for fear of drowning, only to be scolded by his Zanpakuto who appeared shortly after, chuckling at the Shinigami's initial reaction. The entire area is barren, save for some rock formations here and there.

Appearance:

A mighty water dragon, with blue plates instead of scales covering its arms and legs as well as back and parts of the wings so as to allow for smoother travel underwater. The wings, while not much use underwater, allow for Shinkai to fly above the waves. The white underbelly of Shinkai is covered in tough scales that glitter in the light.

When in human form, Shinkai takes the form of an armored knight, much like his Bankai, with a horned helm and blue-grey armor. His eyes are a luminescent blue, which are quite startling when in darkness. His face gives off the appearance of nobility, with high cheekbones and a chiseled jaw that give off a commanding aura. His body is well-kept, (although most of it can't be seen due to the metal plating) with well-developed muscles in the arms and legs and a six-pack he cuts an intimidating image.

Personality:  Rather stern, Shinkai often scolds Arius for being overly friendly or pessimistic, as he can sometimes sway between the too extremes. Shinkai also possesses a playful side, much to Arius' amusement and chagrin, as there have been times when Shinkai would be lying in wait for his partner to appear and then spring up out of nowhere scaring the Shinigami greatly. Of course, this side also functions to help Arius move forward by switching the Vice-Captain's attention from whatever sad or dark time has come upon him to the dragon, and thus allowing him to come back to the subject later, allowing him to look at it more subjectively.

Appearance: A blue-hilted Jin Tachi. The only difference from the image is that there is no grip coming off the scabbard.

Upon being unsealed, Shinkai will turn to water, fading away into the air. After this, the blade will quickly reform in Arius' hand, but will be made of water, making it more dense and harder to block repeatedly. Its appearance also changes, becoming a longsword with a red blade and a silver edge along with a silver handle with blue accents along with a silver handguard and a silver wing-like crossguard..

Ability:  Shinkai grants Arius control of water, with a swing of the blade a burst of water similar to a cannonball and at similar speeds as well. Likewise, he can create a wave of water that overwhelms and disorients opponents.

Techs:

Name: Mizu Keimusho (Trans: Water Prison)
Description: By placing water into or onto the ground at 4 points, Arius is able to catch an opponent off-guard. When an opponent is between all four points, the water will spring up in four watery whips that wrap around one limb each, restraining the victim and preventing movement.

Name: Junsai (Trans: Water Shield)
Description: Arius slashes the air before him, unleashing a large amount of water that takes the form of a shield capable of stopping any Kido level 45 or lower. Any Kido level 46 to 65 can break through, but will be weakened. Any Kido level 66 and higher will break through without any loss of power.

Name:  Mizu no Ha (Trans: Water Blade)
Description: By gathering water along the edge of his blade, Arius then slashes Shinkai through the air, propelling the water from the blade at the opponent.

Name: Shin'nyūsui no nami  (Trans: Encroaching Water Wave)
Description: Drawing on his Reiatsu, Arius drives his sword into the ground, making Shinkai the conduit for the technique. His Reiatsu will pulse visibly across his body as he pushes it through the Zanpakuto into the ground. When it is ready, Arius twists the blade in the ground so that it is perpendicular with his body, and then swiftly removes it from the earth, whereupon a large wall of water appears and rushes forward overtaking any before it up to a 1/3 of a mile. The ground after will be covered with water, making it more difficult to move, as the water would be 2 1/2 feet high. A HSM skill leveled Average or greater as well as Hakudo level Beginner or greater are required to be able to move without resistance. Likewise, a HSM skill leveled Beginner or greater and a Hakudo skill leved Average or greater would be able to move with resistance.

Name: Susume Akuakatta (Trans: Advancing Water Cleaver)
Description: Arius's Reiatsu manifests around his body, casting a navy blue tint along his form. When he has concentrated it enough he stabs Shinkai point first into the ground, at which point a fast jet of water will burst from the ground with a height of 5 meters that races toward the target. Although it is powerful, it can be avoided if one has a HSM skill ranked Average or greater.

Name: Mizu no Kōryū (Trans: Steel Dragon of Water)

Appearance: Shinkai no Gōon Bankai14 

Arius' outfit gets an overhaul as he takes on the aspect of Shinkai, gaining a suit of armor that is coated with water emphasizing its element strongly. Two wings of water sprout out of the back as well, granting the ability of flight. The crowning piece is the four-horned helm on his head, proudly displaying which type of creature. Shinkai disappears as well, becoming part of the armor. Although Arius can call the blade in its Shikai State if he requires a weapon.

Character Change:  While not an overt change, Arius does become more serious, and is much more likely to lead the charge into combat as he takes on a more aggressive personality, relying more on instinct than experience in a fight.  

Ability:  Releasing Bankai increases Arius' offensive and defensive capabilities fivefold, as well as granting the ability to fly at high speeds, making him far more versatile.

Name: Doragon no Bakuon (Trans: Dragon's Roar)
Description: By focusing Reiatsu into his throat, he unleashes a mighty blast of sound capable of temporarily paralyzing anyone within a quarter of a mile that stands at his front. As a result of this attack, depending on one's Reiatsu level, would cause victims to either clutch at their head or lost their footing as it would cause severe disorientation. Untrained to Beginner would go for ear-clutching while Average to Expert would experience disorientation with Experts being slightly resistant, although not enough to escape its effects entirely. Master level Reiatsu only experience slight loss of footing.

Description: The two wings on Arius' back glow briefly before cutting forward sending two crescent-shaped strikes at the target.

Description: Arius gathers gathers water in his throat and spits the glob out at high speeds at the target.

Name:  Jōshō Suirō (Trans: Rising Water Dragon)
Description: Arius concentrates his Reiatsu, covering his body with it (The Reiatsu has no defensive qualities in this state). After a sufficient amount has been gathered, he arches his body and thrusts his arm forward, launching a huge dragon's head in the shape of Shinkai's at the target, mouth opened wide. Upon impact, a semi-thick mist will enshroud the target area for about 5 meters in each direction, making visibility difficult for those within, as any shape that would appear in the mist could be friend, foe, or pieces of nature such as rocks created in the aftermath of the technique. Those outside the mist would also be unable to see within the mist due to its density. The mist dissipates after a slight lag.

Name:  Shinkai o Tenmetsu Burēdo (Trans: Flashing Blades of Deep-Sea)
Description: Summoning his blade, Arius quickly draws on his Reiatsu and swiftly thrusts at his opponent over and over again, with each thrust creating a copy of Shinkai that lunges at the target. The most blades Arius has ever made is 9, but it puts great strain on the body due to the rapid draw and release of Reiatsu, making it usable only once per fight. As a result, Bankai only lasts 2 posts beyond use of this ability if 5 or more blades are created. If 4 or less are created, Bankai is still usable, but this ability will be locked for the rest of the current topic.
Note: Any attempt to make more than 9 blades will, upon conclusion of the technique, immediately end Bankai and revert the Zanpakuto to its Sealed State and remain there until the end of the current Topic and Bankai will be unusable in the following battle topic.

Ok so in Shikai, it should be able to be avoided by people with average HSM or greater not expert. As for Bankai, the first technique's range is too large and are we talking complete paralysis or what is the depth of the paralysis?

Alright, I changed the range to a quarter mile for Bankai and Average for Shikai. And for the Bankai ability, I was thinking something equivalent to a gong or some other reverberating object going off right next to their ears, which as I picture it in my mind would cause them to either clutch at their head or lost their footing as it would cause severe disorientation.

I added another tech to Shikai and to Bankai. For Shikai, the ability is pretty self-explanatory, although if you feel it is too much I will remove it. For Bankai, I put heavy restrictions upon it, so while it can be deadly, it has sufficient drawbacks to make one think twice before using it.

Alright it works. Just elaborate on the paralysis and dragons roar such as if it is a comple the e stop of movement or a disorientation and you should be good.
