Rioji was nearly done mastering his Bankai. He was so close he could almost taste it. The distinct feeling that was expelled when he used his bankai, and the power he felt when he wielded Zetsumei was incredible, nothing else could replace the power and amazement Rioji felt when he was fighting with his Zanpakuto. Rioji expected his bankai to be mastered in a couple more months. He had his bankai after he became LT, that was around 9, nearly 10 years ago. He knew every battle he has ever done, was useful. It helped him practice his Bankai if the challenge was great enough. If his opponent was as strong or stronger, he would try and use bankai, every chance he could get. The more practice and training, the better. Rioji was standing in a barren underground training facility. He would train there so he would disrupt the peacful souls of the Rukongai and other civilian areas. In bankai, it can freeze and mess with people so easily if there spiritual pressure isn't great enough. Rioji breathed in, then exhaled. As he exhaled, he noticed his breath was somewhat cold and foggy. It was getting chilly down there. That just meant he need to move around more. As he attacked the many targets that he set out earlier, he noticed that Zetsumei felt more keen and more accepting of Rioji. For the most part, Zetsumei didn't act to nice to Rioji, since he used to mess up alot in his earlier days of his shinigami life. Rioji assumed he would be going into Zetsumei's world quite soon, simply because of the rapid progress that Rioji was showing off. Rioji asked his blade "Zetsumei. I request that I train in your world." Zetsumei replied in his head "Very well. Finish off these 6 more targets, then I will allow you to train in here. Call once more when finished." Rioji agreed to his proposal, and attacked each target with quick draw, cutting them all in half at different angles. He asked his blade "May I come in now? I am finished." His blade did not say anything, he just let him in. When Rioji came to, he was in an empty place. He knew where to go, he had been there once more. He walked towards the bright light at the center. He saw Zetsumei. Zetsumei said "Even though we are all surrounded by the darkness of others, the light inside of our selves can pave the way to victory." He was talking about his world. It was all dark around, but that light around the middle represented hope and victory. Behind the blade there was a very large structure. In the structure were 4 tournament areas. They were all labeled with numbers, 1-4. 1 being the weakest and 4 being the strongest challenge. Rioji said "I assume that this is my training." His blade said "Yes it is. Are you ready to master your bankai SHINIGAMI RIOJI SHIN?!?!" After he said that, Zetsumei transported him into the first arena, and said "BEGIN!!"
