Once getting inside her castle after the little bit of hakudo training she did, she decided she rather train her mind in information. Now standing in her garden she knew she could get undressed so she slipped out of kimono she was previously wearing which was soaked in body of another arrancar. Before the kimono could even hit the ground one of her fraccion had appear and swiped it up. She now headed up to her room to wash off the remaining blood off her body before grabbing a new kimono and heading down to her study which like her garden was normally locked off to the general public it was even locked off from her own fraccions this was simply due to the vast library of books she had and not wanting one to be misplaced, as well as a few of her notebooks in which she would write ideas down for possible future plans and or moves. If these notes were to get out she would be ruined in a sense. Her plot to take over los noches would be shined light on and the premise that she was only pretending to be week would also come out.

Once locking the door behind her she went over to her large book self and grabbed a few books she had yet to read and a notebook as well then headed to her desk. She organized the books upon her desk in a neat order and grabbed the first one, the first one would be a simple yet calming read as it was a book that talked about simple wild flowers and what people were to call them annoying or not. So basically the common user guide of weeds by a normal person prospective.

The first flower she started reading about was the common field daisy, Leucanthemum vulgare or also called oxeye daisy. This book provided a picture as well as information about it looking at the picture Ayane instantly remembered this flower seeing it many a times when going to visit the world of the living she found it rather unimpressive unless she were to come across a field where there were hundreds of them then yes she was impressed. As she read so learned that the flower once not as common had become a rather invasive flower to the point that it was now classified more as a weed then a flower. Reading the everyday gardeners opinion of the flower there was mixed reviews some thought it was a pleasantly nice weed. With the reviews they also showed a general start rating between one and five, five being good and one being just horrible. The Leucanthemum vulgare got a simple two point five star rating seeing this Ayane wasn't surprised the reviews more negative then positive.

She grabbed her notebook and started drawing out her own reviews of the weed slash flower and what she thought of it in the categories of beauty, useful and likes or dislikes about it.

Her reviews were a little more muted then that of the others who gave their opinions of Leucanthemum vulgare. She refused to sugar coat it if she was able to alter the star rating she would give it a simple one star rating she believed that was all it really deserved. Thinking of the star rating systems she wonder how she would register upon her fellow arrancar she would figure she would probably rated a one star or if she was lucky maybe two stars. But she knew that she personally take it personally like earlier what else did she expect she never let anyone know how smart and skilled she really was. To her this information was what gave her a upper hand. They would expect something and get something far different. If they really knew her they would maybe ranked her with three stars so truthfully wished she could think of being rated with five stars but she knew she would rather be modest cause she knew well enough she wasn't done growing her strength she was above par in some aspects but her one goal would be that of pure perfection.

A knock came across the room from her door of the library she rose up form her seat and walked across the room to the door to answer it. Any of her fraccions knew one think if they were ever to open this door and walk into her study she would kill them on the spot with no hesitation she was rather more open to them going into the garden rather then her library but with that there was also a risk. Step in the flower bed she would kill her, if you want into the garden you would need to swear to only care for the garden and wouldn't be allowed out of her castle. There was a reason for this even her garden held a lot of secrets so she rather not let them out so the best way to deal with that is luck a her few of fraccions inside her castle making sure not to ever let them out.

Once reaching the door she cracked only slightly open just enough for who was out there to be able to see her but not being able to see within the room. At the door was one of fraccion with a cup of tea she gracefully accepted the cup and bowed just slightly before closing the door and heading back to her desk sipping the tea just lightly. She was in love this with the tea using the roses of her own garden they were processed into this powder that while mixed with hot water made a gentle taste, since she liked her tea on the lighter side they also mixed some sugar and a little cream into the tea giving off a white with a hint of pink coloring to it. She took another sip of her tea and reclined just slightly in her desk chair and looking slightly back at her notes in her notebook.

She took another sip of her tea before putting it done and turning the page of her book the next plant listed was the Taraxacum. The Taraxacum was the scientific name most people know it by was dandelion. The name reminder her of her fellow espada by the name of Fera, dandelion and lion she couldn't help but connect the two and letting out a small chuckle. She didn't letting out the chuckle do to that fact she made sure this room was sound proof. She looked at the picture within the section while taking another sip of her tea she giggled just a little more. As she read she saw the weed were native to Eurasia and North America and South America. Thinking about she remembered like before with the daisy she had seen them once a while ago while visiting the world of the living on her trips. As she read more so of the section she found out some very interesting points to the weed. Firstly the were considered edible the leaves could be boiled or eaten raw for a salad. The flower petals, along with other ingredients, usually including citrus, are used to make dandelion wine. If they could ground up, roasted roots of the flower slash weed this can be used as a caffeine-free dandelion coffee. She also found out dandelion's was also traditionally used to make the traditional British soft drink dandelion and burdock, and is one of the ingredients of root beer.

Reading this sparked Ayane's great interest even though Taraxacum was weed in every sense it was surprising in the fact they could be actually digested. She leaned back and took a sip again of her tea and thinks to herself. Since dandelions were rather abundant how was it that people didn't take the resources of the dandelion to their benefits. She remembered from reading one book that with in the world of the living a lot of the people living on it were starving and there was not much food to be found to be eaten. She wonder why they couldn't possible just eat weeds like the dandelion if they did hunger with the world of the living could be fixed.

She peered back at her book and saw something rather interesting saying that Dandelion leaves contain abundant amounts vitamins and minerals, especially vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin K, and are good sources of calcium, potassium, iron and manganese. She grabbed her notebook and started to take notes on the plant notes regarding possible uses you could use them for. Notes about weather if she brought it to los noches and let go like weeds with the sands what would happened. Then she graded it on a scale of one to five stars in the regards to food uses since there was great possibilities with what she could do with it she gave it five stars without batting a single eyelash. She licked her lips and took another sip of her now cold tea and was ready to read the next segment of the book.

Bored with the reading of the Taraxacum and other plants within this book she closed her book with her black notebook that dealt with the information and notes of this book she had scribbled within its pages. Though she perfectly never needed the notebooks as her mind could retain all the information easily she always thought notes might be easier if she were to ever explain any of her thoughts and ideas. Her major idea thought process was bring forth of new order of food to feed her fellow arrancars besides souls. If she were to maybe to engineer the plants to be able to hold the nutrients that a arrancar needs to satisfy their hunger the whole game plan of arrancars would change. This way the arrancars would no longer be the most disliked creatures in the world. But to get these things to work she would to find a way to bring a sun to the world of Las Noches as the eternal night would surely not work. Though most of her fellow arrancars thought of her rather poorly she did have the best attentions for her fellow comrades. Even if they disliked the idea she needed to do this regardless. Having been around a long time she was getting bored of the same old same old, the world seemed to pass by with the simple blink of her eyes. Days seemed to last as long as a minute in her eyes and Las Noches was just run so barbarically with pulling all there ages and experiences together she thought that maybe they would be more civilized but truthfully that was wrong and it sickened her greatly. She placed her book back upon the book shelve and again she thought of her fellow comrades but also this time pulling together the shinigami with them. Age wise the shinigami may be rather greater in numbers but the average shinigami was centuries younger then the average arrancar and at this point again the civilized nature came to question.

How could they have such a civilized life compared to the arrancars where yes they live together in a palace but they each have their own separate wings in which they keep to themselves. The arrancars were far to aggressive to one enough in her eyes, willing to kill of their comrades to gain a higher rank. All they wanted was power and they would step on who ever just to get it. Which meant teamwork was long gone they would never rely on teamwork unless they knew if they didn't they would surely die in the process if they didn't. She could help but pity her fellow comrades as she made her way back to her desk and looked down at her books. Yes some arrancars work together well but nothing like that of the shinigami the arrancars had lost this past war due to the shinigamis well used teamwork to over come the arrancars. She let out a sigh as she continued to ponder this.

Branching of this thought the Shinigami might be the villain in of itself Ayane couldn't help but chuckle she loved how her thought process jumped to that with no hard thought processing, though to some it could be taken wrongly it made a valuable point. It was more or less the shinigami's fault as to the growing population of Hollow's if they were to be doing their jobs they would send the soul to the soul society instead of letting the soul sit there and watch as their chain inched closer to the heart. Ayane could assume that when she was probably human she was not in anyway a villain but she wasn't sure of that. Depicting on her natural nature she didn't seem the type to have a dark human life. But again she wasn't sure of this but only assuming.

But back to the point she continued thinking she understood why some would consider Hollow's as monsters or villains since they feed on souls, but so did the Bount's a very rare face that she only seen once or twice in her life span which was fine by her. But to shinigami's Hollow's were a monstrous race that went in search to hunt, they hunt the creatures in which they couldn't save in a way it was poetic in Ayane's mind. But she doubted that anyone else thought of this normally, then again she knew very well that she was anything but normal. She was just a weed that learned to evolve to her surroundings, like many plants naturally do.

Thinking about all this her mind started to think of the many races that existed, there was Shinigami's, Hollows, Humans, Bounts, Vizards, and Quincies. The one race that interested her the most was the race Vizards though she had never witnessed any she heard rumors and gossip supposedly they were shinigami originally that had gained the powers of that of a hollow to the point they were even able to fire a cero, this of course pecked her interest. How couldn't it interest her something that was a mix of two mortal enemies just seemed interesting. She wondered to herself if by chance would she ever met such a creature in her life time and how would she fair with one. What might they talk about, what might their limits to their powers be the questions she wanted to ask kept running through her head like a speeding bullet. Her ever curiosity started running wild at how they looked that she forgot to keep her composer as her faced started to turn twisted ans tortured. The same face that she liked to hide was now all the more present, the grin reaching that spread from ear to ear the same grin that could peel paint off the walls. Her eyes opened widen as her iris darted and danced around as if trying to focus on something though there was nothing there. She had hated making this face due to its unappealing look but when her curiosity or anger ran away from this face always appeared even in the attempts to find it.

Her curiosity was maddening if where implanted in the mind of any other, plans were running through and through out her mind. Though she wasn't a scientist she would love to be able to watch as a Vizard would be dissected the shear thought drove her to laughing evilly. Though normally her laughs were mild small chuckles but with such a twisted face the laughs were twisted and loud coming out booming and voluminous. Within minutes there was a knock on her door, probably a fraccion worried as to where the noise was coming from. Shortly the knocks were gone, completely ignoring them the fraccion must have given up with trying to find out was going on. Once there was silence she arose from her desk and went to her bookshelves and tried to see if she might have a book on vizards at all. But of course there was no such book, pissed at the fact she had no books her twisted look stated to disappear. Her grin grew smaller by the second and now returned to normal her eyes once darting around started to settle down and became less frantic. Realizing what had happened she let out a sigh of relief due to being able to calm herself down. She personally hated such a face but was so easily charmed into such a face. She hated when her curiosity ran wild but again it was common she just tried to hold her rains better when with her fellow comrades and to keep a firm face.

At most times she kept the composer calm due to the fact she wished to trick them but this wasn't true she did this so they didn't think she was a freak. She very well knew she was a freak and she didn't want people to think of her as one as well. She wanted to be known as the one who only cared about her appearance which is true in every aspect. She dreamed to be royalty so she needed to make sure she appeared the part. But royalty with the espada that was pointless to a degree, why try to strive for beauty and royalty when among the beasts that her comrades were it wasn't like the would appreciate it.

Though they wouldn't be able to appreciate it, it calmed Ayane's nerves greatly. She saw herself as a flower and every flower is beautiful in a way. Her appearance was to her like petals on a flower, petals that are not necessary but let people know it was flower and not a weed. At this point she looked down at her kimono which was a simple white kimono with small accents of gold. Though she hated them to a certain point she could picture herself to that of a daisy, she went back to her desk and pulled out her usual notebook this notebook was more or less a calender planner with times and dates as well as places she wanted to go to. This was for either books or flowers she wanted to see or get, again as she hated them just slightly she wrote down that she wish to go she a meadow of daisies in the near future.

Speaking of visiting the human world which she did often many of asked her as to why she visited there and she usually answers to see plants and get books but this really true. Though some times this is true but is very rare she mostly wants to leave las noches due to the fact she hates how dark and cold the place is. There is to many dark corners within las noches and she found it depressing she traveled to the human to get away from this, she wanted to experience light and warmth which was hard to find with the castle even her garden lacked such qualities. She one day dreamed of leaving las noches in the attempts to create her own castle one that could be consider both warm and bright. Though she figured that might be impossible ... why? Cause if she were to leave the castle she would become a mass target by her peers. She wanted her castle to be a recreation of that of the city of Tokyo at night with lights lit up. Within the city would be Tokyo Tower that lit up would appear golden. Upon the top of the tower branches would come out each branch would blossom millions of cherry blossoms that glowed pink giving a heavenly appearance. Within the branches would be a dome like sphere where the espada or guests would enter and talk. Similar to a meeting hall, the inside of the dome would be a vast meadow of flowers with a rainbow of colors glowing upon the ceiling. The city around the base of the tower would be free range and be able to used by any arrancar.

Though if she could have any dream at the moment it would be this one but she knew she had to dismiss it she could only see trouble in the future if she were to ever try this plan. If this plan were to ever work she would need a approval from Roddo the King of the Espada as well as a few of her few comrades willingness to help her construct this city. It would be impossible to construct it herself without help, her true goal her was the ability to give the arrancars a choose to decide where to live though she knew most of them probably could care less where they lived. So she knew she were to give up this idea instantly and never speak a word of it to anyone plus she could figure Roddo would never give her approval for it and would probably kill her on the spot if she were to ever suggest it, it the moment she couldn't help but feel weak anyone would feel weak in front of Roddo.

She quickly dismissed the thought of Roddo as it made her shiver and she headed back to her desk not before closing her notebook. With a deep sigh she looked around her desk which for some reason was a mess.

She looked at her desk and quickly and effortless organized it thoroughly and took a gander at the room itself which when she came in was crisp and organized and was now in shambles. With a sigh of disappointment she arose yet again from her desk and clean it up after a few moments everything was back in its place and clean. She looked around the room again to see if everything was alright now, which it was. Then it hit her without her even knowing it warmth ran down her face such warmth she knew exactly what it was and was surprised that it was happening. Extending her hand upward to her cheek she touched the warmth and pulled her hand back and noticed it was wet, she was crying but why was she crying it made no sense to her why she was crying she had no reason to cry so why was she though. She closed her eyes and tried to relax but she couldn't for the life of her relax some reason she couldn't just relax. In fact her trying to relax only brought more warm tears down her face, she stood there silently crying while tried to figure out just why she was crying. She reopened her eyes and looked around to see if maybe something in the room was possibly making her cry as she looked she noticed nothing that could or would make her cry to the extent of what she was doing. It finally dawned on her just what in the world was making her cry it was nothing in the room at all but the room itself no the castle was making her cry. To her the castle seemed almost as if it was a coffin in itself imprisoning herself within the walls. In the walls she felt as if she was dead and cold just like the walls around her. It was weird this had never happen to her never had she cried for such a reason. She cried when she killed the man she loved but why now it made no sense, as she looked at the walls she could remember back in the day when she was with him.

He was a horrible man but she knew she loved him he was her very first love and maybe her very last. Why would she love someone again after what he had done to her. The horrible things he made her do and how he tortured her. But the images of those days started to play in her head almost like she was reliving it and these walls were playing like a movie. The tears continued to flow so naturally down her face she reaches up to wipe them off but no matter what she did or how fast she wiped it kept coming down her face. In sheer pain of reliving those days in her mind she falls down to the ground landing on her knees she continued to wipe and again it did no help at all. Her silence before was now gone as she was whimpering as she wiped her eyes even more. So much so that her eyes were turning red due to the constant rubbing of them she was doing.

She could remember the first day joining the leagues of arrancars being freshly made she remember sitting in the sands naked. She remembered as she took his hand in the understanding of being with him and being able to fight with him she was so overjoyed that day. She remembered how she admired him with great passion as she was in love with him. But she knew now if she were to follow the same path as before she would have never agreed to take his hand and follow him she would have rather killed herself then and there. She had regretted taking his hand ever since then but if she hadn't taken his hand she knew very well she would never be where she was now that being espada four. She remembered how the beginning days seemed like she was in a dream being able to be by his side but that dream quickly changed into hatred as he abused her in a great number of ways like pulling her by the hair and dragging her by said hair, punching and kicking her, throwing her down stairs, tying her up and using her body in ways she didn't give consent to.

He was a horrible man and she knew it but part of her still loved him for some reason. He was her first love after all and one can never move past their first love no matter how much one could try.

She remembered that she herself killed him and the pleasure she had felt that day and every day since then. Killing him is the reason she is were she is now sitting in her own castle and given the rank he was, though it was his rank she tried to make it her own and tried to move past it. Making sure to never think of it which was hard as to the fact people would try to bring him up and ask why she killed him. She tried to make it a point to brush it off and keep going with her life but it is hard to do just that. She arose off the floor now, now with no more tears coming down her face due to crying all of them out. Now knowing the reason she was crying she couldn't do anything about it, she would cry for him very often but made sure no one would see her the tears were enough of a painful reminder that she didn't need people asking as to why she was crying which would mean she would have to explain the whole thing. And that was never gonna happen she rather kill another arrancar then to explain why she is crying, if it were to get out that she was crying she would look weak. She couldn't have that going around it hard enough that most of the espada didn't like her they didn't need another reason to not like her now did they. Secrets they seemed to be filling her life so much she thought keeping to herself all the time rarely meeting with or talking to others mainly to not look weak to them she knew if she kept to herself that people would never really know who she was.

Now with a moment of clarity she knew she needed to put her mind to use on something else, she figured it would be best to start reading again. She made her way back to her desk her eyes slightly blurry from crying she looked at her books and decided on that dealt with the spinal cord. Not a topic she read often so it might be more interesting so it might keep her mind busy. She opened the book and started to read. The spinal cord is a long, thin, tubular bundle of nervous tissue and support cells that extends from the brain. Or the the medulla oblongata specifically said the book. According to the book the medulla oblongata is the lower half of the brainstem, which is continuous with the spinal cord, the upper half being the pons. It is often referred to simply as the medulla. The medulla contains the cardiac, respiratory, vomiting and vasomotor centers and so deals with the autonomic involuntary functions, of breathing, heart rate and blood pressure. Very interesting she thought as she read through the information she didn't know much of the nervous system but she was happy to learn. The brain and spinal cord together make up the central nervous system. The spinal cord begins at the occipital bone and extends down to the space between the first and second lumbar vertebrae; it does not extend the entire length of the vertebral column. It is around 18 in in men and around 17 in long in women. She found it interesting that the spinal cord was shorter in women then in men was this due to the fact women are naturally shorter then men. Maybe this was it, she took out a new notebook and started to make a few notes about this new information.

She also read that, the spinal cord has a varying width, ranging from 1/2 inch thick in the cervical and lumbar regions to 1/4 inch thick in the thoracic area. Something so thin was response for so much she couldn't help but laugh at this in a way. The spinal cord functions primarily in the transmission of neural signals between the brain and the rest of the body. The spinal cord has three major functions: as a conduit for motor information, which travels down the spinal cord, as a conduit for sensory information in the reverse direction, and finally as a center for coordinating certain reflexes. Such a complex reading was really nice she really needed this distraction from earlier. The spinal cord is the main pathway for information connecting the brain and peripheral nervous system. The length of the spinal cord is much shorter than the length of the bony spinal column. The human spinal cord extends from the foramen magnum and continues through to the conus medullaris near the second lumbar vertebra, terminating in a fibrous extension known as the filum terminale. Alot of the words she read now were words she never heard of she went to grab a medical dictionary and started to flip through the pages to find them.

The first word she needed to look up was foramen magnum, according to the book. The foramen magnum which is Latin for "great hole" is a large opening in the occipital bone of the cranium. It is one of the several oval or circular apertures in the base of the skull, through which the medulla oblongata an extension of the spinal cord enters and exits the skull vault. Putting it like that shined some great knowledge and understanding to what the word meant. The next point she needed to look up was the conus medullaris as she flipped through the book she finally found the word he conus medullaris Latin for "medullary cone" is the tapered, lower end of the spinal cord. It was brief and simple but it made sense in a way. The last word she needed to look up was filum terminale while turning the pages she realized if wasn't far off from the first word the filum terminale basically gives longitudinal support to the spinal cord, simple yet sweet she placed the dictionary to the side ready to pull it back out to look up new words but now she was gonna go back to the book.

The spinal cord is ovoid-shaped, and is enlarged in the cervical and lumbar regions. The cervical enlargement, located from C3 to T2 spinal segments, is where sensory input comes from and motor output goes to the arms. The lumbar enlargement, located between L1 and S3 spinal segments, handles sensory input and motor output coming from and going to the legs. Interesting that seven spinal vertebrate are responsible for the motion of ones arms and only five are responsible for the function of the legs this was very interesting she thought.

The spinal cord is protected by three layers of tissue, called spinal meninges, that surround the canal. The dura mater is the outermost layer, and it forms a tough protective coating. Between the dura mater and the surrounding bone of the vertebrae is a space called the epidural space. The epidural space is filled with adipose tissue, and it contains a network of blood vessels. The arachnoid mater is the middle protective layer. Its name comes from the fact that the tissue has a spiderweb-like appearance. The space between the arachnoid and the underlying pia mater is called the subarachnoid space. The subarachnoid space contains cerebrospinal fluid. The medical procedure known as a lumbar puncture or "spinal tap" involves use of a needle to withdraw cerebrospinal fluid from the subarachnoid space, usually from the lumbar region of the spine. The pia mater is the innermost protective layer. It is very delicate and it is tightly associated with the surface of the spinal cord. The cord is stabilized within the dura mater by the connecting denticulate ligaments, which extend from the enveloping pia mater laterally between the dorsal and ventral roots. The dural sac ends at the vertebral level of the second sacral vertebra. Time to pull the dictionary back out as more words appeared that she didn't know what they were.

The complex nature of the spine and the central nervous system was so interesting to Ayane more so then plants for some reason. Plants were complex don't get that wrong but the central nervous system had more parts to it that made it more complex reading this Ayane wished she had a model spinal cord to look at to cross examine the information she was reading the book did provide pictures as reference but a 2d reference was simply not enough for her she really wanted a 3d model to look at as well. Maybe the next time she visited the world of the living she might steal a model for herself. To her expanding her mind was more important then that of strength, strength was just a bonus. Expanding ones mind to the point of being able to understand small aspects is very important knowledge could be used more so to win a battle then brute strength. Using ones mind could help lower the damage you would receive in battle. That is how Ayane thought of things reading to her was just as much training as anything else might be.

She thought for a moment, her castle was a influence of herself yet the castle was boring all except the garden it was gray in comparison to the garden. Maybe it was time to set up decorations up to make the castle more homey and warm. To get it warm would be tricky as they were in Las Noches but a challenge like this would be fun in a way. She looked back at the spinal cord book and the dictionary it was time she guessed to give it a break for a while, yes she liked knowledge but to a point she didn't want to stuff all of one thing into her mind she liked to mix it up as often as she could.

She pleased a piece of paper into the book using it like a bookmark and closed the book with it in it. She gently placed the book and dictionary back up onto the book shelve taking a deep breathe she opened the study's door and walked out into the hall making sure to lock the door behind her. Once locked she looked up and down the hallway and she saw just how boring it was. Atmosphere could change the mood someone is in and right now the area had no atmosphere to give it was just depressing and blah.

The walls could be painted something warm or cool maybe a pale red or blue. Maybe a statue or two placed would give the area some luxurious feel to the castle or maybe some beautiful hanging lights running all down the halls. Though the hall had no windows maybe if they put up some curtains it would seem for the area to look a little less coffin like. But her next thought was what her fraccion think of it in a way not only would it change her mood but possibly theirs as well. But she couldn't possibly do this all by herself she would need help and she wasn't all that sure they might help her or think she was insane.
