Let the fighting commence!

The air was crisp within the forest outside the city, winds blowing through the leaves to carry the scents through the trees. Within this forest stood a Vizard, calmly resting against a tree. He was wearing a pair of black cargo pants, as well as a grey tank top and black hoodie. Said hoodie was open, his zanpakuto resting on the right hip, his arms crossed over his chest as he stared at the sky. A sigh would escape his lips as he pushed off said tree, letting his hands fall to rest at either side. He wasn't much for theatrics, so this would be the best he would give in appearances.

Xion had been watching from the trees for some time at the man below. He watched everything from the shifting of his weight as he walked, to the way he stood with his arms across his chest. " Interesting.." The Captain Commander of the Shinigami was a peculiar man, as he often liked to watch people before interacting with them. Xion could now feel that the time was right to make his presence known as he Shunpo'd out of the tree, appearing a few feet in front of the man. " My my my....it has been a long time hasn't it Lazarus taichou..." Xion smiled at the man he eyed the zanpakutou at his side. " We can do this the easy way or the hard way...." He would grasp his zanpakutou withdrawing it from it's sheath before walking towards the man. " I'd recommend the easy way if I were you..."

Lazarus would look to the man speaking, his right hand coming to rest on the sheath of his zanpakuto, pushing the hilt so it came out ever so slightly. He hadn't heard that voice in quite some time, but he knew well enough what the man behind said voice was capable of. He would pull the blade out from it's sheath, holding it so the edge was pointing out, but the sword itself would be upside down.
"We both know I've never really been one for the easy way..." He wasn't one for formality, nor was he a man for commentary, but he would do so if the time came. After all, he was dealing with a familiar man, and they had a lot to catch up on.

Xion smiled as he heard his old comrades words. He had known the man for many years and would expect no less from some one he himself held a hand in promoting to captain. The sounds of high speed movement can be heard as Xion used Shunpo to clear the gap between them, appearing out of the movement with a slash towards his old friend's chest. " Why did you leave...why didn't you let me help you?!" Xion's words were filled with concern and worry for his former comrade at arms. He was never given an answer, and Xion would use their conflict now to get all the answers that had been burning inside him for so many years.

With his blade parried, Xion had to work quickly. The Captain Commander points his left hand out at the rogue Shinigami. " Bakudo no Rokujyuuichi... Rikujokoro..." The bars of light formed quickly around the rogue as Xion leaped back to avoid being caught in the technique. He knew much about his opponent, but he needed him alive if he was to get him to answer the many questions he had. Xion, not wanting to lose his battle momentum decided to keep the pressure on his fellow Shinigami. Not taking another moment to hesitate, Xion pointed his left palm out towards the rogue once again, this time utilizing a different technique. " Hado no Hachijyuhachi...Hiryu Gekizoku Shinten Raiho!" The massive blast of power rocking his body back slightly as the blast flew towards his old friend.

Techniques:

Xion follow his old comrades movements as the smoke cleared. By eying his handy work, Xion can tell that his attacks had impact. As the Shinigami came toward him, Xion would stab his sword into the ground in front of him. Now with his sword out of the way, he can bring about his next offensive. As the man came in, Xion folded his fingers together into an interesting formation. " Bakudo no Kyujyukyu....Kin!" Since his previous bakudo appeared to be affective, Xion made the decision he would do something similar, only slightly different. The bands appeared quickly from just slightly behind his opponent in an attempt restrict his movements in a massive way.

Techniques:

(OOC: For not posting your kido properly, posting will assume you were caught by kin.)

Xion would watch as his bakudo managed to bring the rogue to the ground. " I see you have forgotten much of your training old friend..." Xion's tone was rife with condescension. He planned to defeat this fellow warrior yet, he would do so methodically so that should they meet again after this conflict, he may grow. Now with his opponent trapped, Xion would work to bring this conflict to a swift end. " Death shall now be upon you..." The Captain Commander would enter Shunpo, appearing ten feet in front of the pinned warrior. " Limit of the thousands hands, respectful hands..." Ten pink energy points begin forming around pinned warrior as the incantation has begun.

Techniques:

Xion still continued his incantation as the points had begun to move in. " unable to touch the darkness. Shooting hands unable to reflect the blue sky. The road that basks in light, the wind that ignited the embers, time that gathers when both are together, there is no need to be hesitant, obey my orders. Light bullets, eight bodies, nine items, book of heaven, diseased treasure, great wheel, grey fortress tower. Aim far away, scatter brightly and cleanly when fired!... Hado no Kyujyuichi....Senju Koten Taiho! " Upon saying those words, the points erupted in a giant blast of destructive force. The area was bathed in a bright pink radiance. As the explosion happened, Xion shed a single tear which rolled down the side of his cheek. " Not another one..."

Techniques:

Lazarus would listen as the incantation was completed, and he prepared for the pain to come. Although he did have a plan, something that destructive would rip apart the bindings holding him down, so all he had to do was survive the kido. The pain that came with the explosion was the kind he had only felt a handful of times, doing everything in his power not to scream in agony. Although as the explosion would occur, he would let his reiatsu roar out, at the same time he would utter words, choked as they were, in near silence.
"Embrace the...Silence..." From this his reiatsu would only flare more, holding the twin blades of his shikai as the explosion turned to a massive cloud of dirt and what not. Pushing up from the ground with trembling arms, he would stand on shaking legs, blood dripping from his arms, legs, chest, and back. His chest would heave roughly as he stood, his index finger coming up to rest against his lips. As he let the arm fall back down, his reiatsu would further spike, his control over it being all but lost as his mask would form, his eyes taking the black over the white, his once golden eyes now red. The injuries alone were enough to make a normal man give in, but this was something he wanted to do in front of his old friend. As he spoke this time, there was no tremble in his voice, although it took on two overlapping voices.
"When you can fix this, maybe I'll come back..."

Techniques Used:

The increase in reiatsu was surprising and sudden as he witnessed his old comrade become a monster. " You...oh no..." Xion felt a mix of both anger and sadness as his own reiatsu blasted out. His reiatsu had begun to compress down on the area, both of their reiatsus causing the air to become distorted and heavy. Without saying another word, Xion would allow his reiatsu to line his body, a bright glow radiating from his skin as his reiatsu had begun taking an outward manifestation. " Shunko..." With that singular word, the shoulders of both his captain's hoari and his normal robe vaporized from underneath the intensely charged power. " I will save you from yourself..." Xion took off instantly, using his Shunko to amplify his movement speed as he would strike towards his opponent with his right hand, along the charged power to blast forward in an attempt to cause a massive concussion blast of reiatsu and force.

Techniques:

Lazarus would bring his left blade up to try and block said strike with the flat of his blade, swinging the right at the out stretched arm, aiming for the tendons. The force behind the punch was enough to shatter the ground beneath them, but he would return the power with the power behind his right blade. Although it wasn't on par with the power of this man's 'Shunko', it did hold a sufficient amount. The smile would falter for a moment as he registered the others words, gritting his teeth at the voice in his head screaming for vengeance.
"It's disappointing that you think this as myself, but I wouldn't be able to explain it anyways..."

Strength anf Force of Shikai:

Xion would spin out of the way as the blade came in, then clenching his fists in a stance similar to that exhibited by a boxer. Xion had exterminated many of his opponent's kind in the past, his display made complete sense yet, he was heart broken to see someone he held in such high regard, resort to the use such a power. " No need to explain.....I am deeply saddened by the way things have turned out...I must free you from this curse at any cost..." Xion allowed his Shunko's power to dissipate, and in turn, spun to his right, grabbing his sword up as he spun. Coming out of the spin, his blade pointed out towards his foe. " I never thought I would use this power against someone I care about...life is so unfair sometimes..." His reiatsu flared for a moment as he called forth the name of his peacekeeper. " Enbu.....Ongakuouja" His blade would transform into it's true self, the glowing red blade and runic spectral hand guard bathing his grasping hand in a beautiful luminous red.

Not wanting to wait to long for the true fight to begin, Xion would kick things off once again by entering into a shimmy, his upper torso shaking like a snake as a blast of condensed sound wave pressure int he form of an average sized Wakizashi, was expelled toward the Vizard. Upon reaching his foe, the weapon would explode only a foot away from it's intended target.

Techniques:

Lazarus would stare for a moment, almost in awe of the shikai presented to him. It was rare to see this from the other, and being in the state he was in,the danger levels rose to unimaginable proportions. Although he was surprised at the release, he wouldn't let the man get the better of him. Letting the attack get close, Lazarus would kick back just before detonation, using the force behind it as added momentum to gain distance between the two of them. It was painful against his already bleeding body, but he would take it in stride, thinking about how he might be able to come back from such a display of power and ability. He would have to play on the defensive side until he could find an opening to strike, but considering what just happened, he might have to make a few sacrifices.

Strength and Force:

The man was exceptionally skilled to have thought to use kido to escape his situation. Xion watched he attempted to put some distance between them. Xion would utilize a simple dance move, by rocking his head up and down in a head banging motion he was able to allow his blade's power to once again. Xion knowing that his opponent would simply try to avoid any sudden attacks he might use, knew that he would have to catch him off guard. With a single swift slashing motion, another sound wave weapon was sent towards the Vizard, this time in the shape of a halberd. As the weapon flew, Xion would use it as both a damage dealing implement and a diversionary tactic. Xion would enter Shunpo then appearing behind the Vizard while his sound wave weapon flew towards him. " Bakudo no  Rokujyu San...Sajosabaku!" The golden chains blasting forth from behind Xion and out towards the Vizard in an attempt to bind him.

Techniques:

Lazarus would follow the mans movements with focused attention, shunpoing behind him with a his right blade swinging down vertically at the mans spine. He was careful to shunpo the instant the others Bakudo would be activated. His left blade would thrust forwards at the same time his right swung down, aimed to stab the lower back of the other. There was a certain level of care he took when attacking, and given the situation he was in a good position to strike.

Strength and Force:

The man was smart enough to know which attack was more troubling and took an action that to Xion could be described as intelligent. The man's blade came in toward him and as his blade would appear and by the time the blade would have made contact, Xion had already made his move. With the sound wave weapon approaching quickly, Xion would allow it to appear as if he was struck, the image of Xion's body accepting the blade could be seen as the sound wave weapon had come in. Just as the weapon was to reach the two, Xion could be seen suddenly appearing a few feet behind the man who was just behind him. As the blade would explode, Xion's true form was far enough away from his opponent and the impact radius that he could watch and smile. " Utsusemi..."

Techniques:

Lazarus would see the halberd and speak without pause, his voice low, yet somehow completely calm.
"Bakudo 81: Danku." He would watch the halberd explode, his danku protecting him from the blast. It was truly a powerful ability to say the least, and Lazarus was glad he didn't have to feel another one. Turning around, he would gaze upon the other with sad eyes, ones that truly didn't want for this fight to continue. He knew the other wouldn't stop until he was nothing more than a corpse clinging to life on the ground, and that thought alone would keep him fighting, even if it was all half assed anyways.

Strength and Force:

The man had enough strategy to know to use Danku to avoid his sound wave weapon. Xion smiled at the man as he turned to face him. The moment the Danku was formed, Xion had already begun his counter offensive, dancing in place for a moment and firing off another sound wave weapon just in time for the man to eye it coming toward him as he turned to look at Xion. " I am sorry old friend, but death is your only absolution..."

Techniques:

Lazarus didn't waste any time at all in chasing down his target. Shunpoing in front of the man, he swung his right blade down at his left shoulder; the left blade swing for the man's rib cage. There wasn't much point in distancing himself from the other, seeing as all that would get him was more of the annoying sound weapons, so the all out assault would be his tactic for now.

Moves Used:

Strength and Power:

The man's sudden actions were of no surprise to the Captain Commander after all, he did work for many years beside the man and knew his fighting modality very well. As the first sword came in Xion would take a step back, causing the blade to dance past his rib cage, as the blade moved past his rib cage, Xion would slam his left foot into his opponent's strike sword holding hand utilizing his immense Hakudo skill to accomplish this, in an attempt to break the man's hand. With the second blade coming in, Xion would use his own blade to block and hold the other blade away. His opponent was now wide open, and Xion would take his opponents surprise and shock as his tactic, placing his left index finger on the forehead of his opponent. " Hado no Yon..Byakurai!" The massive blast of linear lightning would rip forth from his blade at point black range in towards the forehead of his opponent.

Techniques:
