Appearance: The sealed state of Demonio Canino is rather impressive for being a sword that is literally never used in combat.  It is exactly 70.6 cm long, with a slight curve along the blade befitting its katana status.  The hilt is purely black aside from a demonic-appearing creature that is reminiscent of a canine with wings formed in gold along the side.  The blade itself is sharp though unnaturally spotless, having never been used in actual battle and thus lacking even basic scratches.  The same demonic canine creature is etched along the side of the blade.

Resurreccion--------------------------------------------------

Release Phrase: Desgarrar, Demonio Canino [Rend, Demon Canine]

Appearance: Before Xiuhcoatl assumes his resurreccion, he typically removes his shirt considering the fact that typically whatever is worn above his waist is unceremoniously ripped to shreds and blown away by the power of his reiatsu flaring from his body.  A shirt is unnecessary however, as the entirety of his body becomes covered in a light layer of silvery-white fur.  This effect applies even to his head, which takes on a demonic and canine-esque appearance.  His ears grow significantly longer, as does his hair, which now reaches past his waist and features a pitch-black appearance with a few silvery-white strands mixed in.  He also grows horns, which complement the lengthy spaded tail that sprouts from his lower back.  To add to the demonic appearance, Xiuhcoatl grows large bat-like wings, covered in the same fur as the remainder of his body.  These wings are retractable however, melding into his shoulder-blades when not 'out.'  To complete the transformation, Xiuhcoatl's hands and feet become more akin to claws, with nails on the end that are obviously sharp.  Over these extremities forms a 'sheath' of black reitasu that is not unable to be dispelled or lessened by any means, for this is part of the overall resurreccion.

Ability:

The first and most noticeable ability of Xiuhcoatl's resurreccion is the black reiatsu coating that exists over his hands and feet.  This coating extends from fingertips to elbow and from toes to knees, and serves the dual purpose of keeping his limbs intact and giving him a primary method of attacking his opponents.  The coating over his claws is extremely honed, enabling him to rend his opponents with them.  The claw-coating can be extended slightly to be a foot long at will, allowing for a surprise attack against opponents.

Name: La Estructura Osea [Bone Structure]
Description: Xiuhcoatl becomes covered head to toe by a similar reiatsu to the one that coats his arms and legs, granting him a 'total defense.'  The reitasu that covers his body is temporary and not as strong however, and instead functions as a Hierro placed over his original Hierro that lasts for three posts unless it is destroyed beforehand.  A visual effect of this technique and the reason behind its name is the fact that when in use, a white outline of Xiuhcoatl's skeletal structure can be seen within the black reiatsu that forms his 'armor.'

Name: Extensión de las Extremidades [Extension of the Limbs]
Description: A simple technique with the possibility of being effective if used properly, this one allows Xiuhcoatl to extend the reiatsu coating of his arms or legs up to a distance of fifteen meters, with the coating acting effectively as his arm and hand and enabling him to use techniques through the extended extremity.  The extension happens about as swiftly as Xiuhcoatl can throw a punch or kick, and is meant to take opponents off-guard.

Name: Regeneración [Regeneration]
Description: A useful technique for maintaining a fighting status during battle and for recovering after battle, this technique allows for a high-speed regeneration factor.  When activated, light wounds are automatically healed (light cuts, scratches, fatigue).  Two posts later, moderate wounds are healed (deep tissue damage, cuts that penetrate deep enough to draw massive amounts of blood, cracked bones), and within four posts heavy injuries are healed (wounds that are not fatal, yet that are greater than 'moderate injuries, such as broken bones.)  This technique can be used to restore lost limbs, but this takes too much time to be done in the field, and occurs instead post-thread.  Shikai poisons are counted as being moderate wounds, while bankai poisons are counted as being heavy.

Name: Comandar: Cortar [Command: Sever]
Description: The first of the command techniques, Cortar is a state that grants Xiuhcoatl an advantage over enemy Kido/Cero users.  The reiatsu coating on each of his claws begins to spin extremely fast, with enough speed that the coating becomes able to disrupt the reiatsu bindings of techniques.  The mechanics of this technique are as follows: when Xiuhcoatl's claws come into contact with a reiatsu-based technique, that technique instantly loses fifty kido points worth of power.  If this would be enough to reduce that technique to 0, the technique dissipates, otherwise it takes effect at the lessened power level.  In terms of coming into contact with a weapon technique, the effect of the claws is to reduce the power of reiatsu-based weapon techniques by 50% if that technique has a physical form (earth, water, fire, ice, lightning, etc.)

Name: Penetrante Cero [Penetrating Cero]
Description: The application of the principle of Comandar: Cortar to a cero, Penetrante Cero acts by shrouding a typical cero within a 'sheathe' of rapidly oscillating reiatsu.  This does not increase the power of the cero, but it does allow it to tear through reiatsu-based techniques under the same mechanics as Xiuhcoatl's claws under the effect of Comandar: Cortar.

Name: Comandar: Rotura [Command: Break]
Description: The technique that gives Xiuhcoatl a temporary advantage over hakudo specialists.  The second command, Comandar: Rotura enhances the power of Xiuhcoatl's punches and kicks.  Xiuhcoatl releases a shockwave every time contact is made between his limbs and a person's body.  This manifests in opponents suffering bruised bones the first time contact is made, and broken bones the second time contact is made.  This is in addition to a knockback effect that is significant enough to send enemies flying backwards several meters.

Name: Imponente Cero [Smashing Cero]
Description: The application of Rotura to Cero, this technique creates a Cero that moves with the speed of a bala without losing any of its power in the process.  Furthermore, when the cero connects with something, it releases a twenty meter shockwave powerful enough to send opponents soaring through the air as though subject to Hado 58: Tenran.  The shape of this cero is that of condensed energy in the form of a bala, which can be rather deceiving.
