Appearance: Mio is fairly short girl for her age and stands at a approximate height of 5"5' with a weight of 110lbs, with a light skin tone that doesn't look to pale and yet not to tan. She has a slim build, showing her curves around her hips, thighs, and breasts. Her body is soft as a baby's bottom and not a scratch on her. She has long rich blonde hair that goes past her waist, and made into a long braid that goes over her shoulder, but she flips back when it gets in the way. She has a unique eye color being a light purplish color and pink in direct light, some say their custom contacts but she just ignores them. She's a women so she does have breasts, her size is a D-cup and she's proud of it, she not one to parade them around, so she does have some sense of dignity and cover's herself when needed. She doesn't slouch but stands straight with her head held high, when she walks.

She wears her Shihakusho differently from others. She wears hers as a short skirt and long sleeved kimono, covering her arms and hands completely. With a white sash around her waist, tied into a bow that is on the back revealed when she removes her haori. Her haori has no sleeves, as they are cut at the shoulders edge. She doesn't wear the traditional white undergarments, under her Shihakusho but normal undergarments that most human females wear.

Personality:
Mio is a very open and bright girl who thinks for herself and loves to do things her way. She's confident enough to be who she wants to be without anyone telling her otherwise and isn't scared to do anything new. One of the things she likes to do is make friends along her travels and is why she's open hearted and likes to help out when ever and how ever she can. She can be shy at times though only when meeting new people. And not the type that runs away from meeting a new face. Mio is a very happy and energetic person when she has something to look forward to or has something she likes to do. She can't be depressed or saddened by having the things she likes or loves in her hands. She is a caring character who loves to help out others in their time of need. She hates to see others cry or hurt and always willing a helping hand to make them feel better if its a hug, talk or even just a walk across the beach to get their minds off things.

Laziness is one of her most favorite types of things she likes to be when the temperature is just right enough. Making her more lax and quiet, wanting to do nothing but laze about and sleep throughout the day. This is what she thinks is the funnest part about her and actually loves being like this, because it helps her get her mind off things. She is what most guys and girls would call a romantic, one who imagines her true love would come riding horse back to her rescue and save the day. She knows that its highly impossible for that to happen, but she keeps her hopes for that special someone to come around one day, to keep her in hims arm's from day to night and tells her that he loves her for all his life. When brought into the discussion her face would blush, place her hands on her cheeks and shake her face around trying to get rid of her blushing.

She can be courageous when the times calls for it. She'll put herself in harms way to protect her friends sacrificing herself in anyways means. Though only as a last resort. She truly believes that there is another choice other then save them and die or save yourself and let them die. She believes that you can fight together and live, a choice she found through her life and a experience she wouldn't want to feel ever again. The only time where she show's her fear, sadness, or depression is when a friend or family member passes away. She thinks that even if you were the strongest or most evil creature in the world its still alright to cry when someone you know is gone forever. Mio's courageousness can be the death of her as she will put her life on the line for others without thinking of her own. She doesn't really think about it when the time comes and just rushes out there to defend her friends. Some might call this being a hero but others might call this dim witted or even cocky depending on the outcome.

Mio like's to fight her enemy's head on in close combat. She likes it for being more straight forward with her target's and doesn't want to show them that she'll rely on things around her but only herself. She's one to charge first, dodge when needed and try to keep a step ahead of her opponent. When taken by surprise or knows when she is out matched she takes a more defensive approach, and uses her speed to dodge their attack's and also gaining advantage with quick/agile attack's instead of facing head on.

She fight's more with her sword then any other combat style. She might throw in a few punches or kick's and maybe a few combos of both within her attacks. But she mainly uses her sword as a part of her body. Mostly one-handed style, as she believes it to be faster then holding it with both hands, but would use both hands when she needs to add more strength within her strikes.

Faults:
She can be sometimes a bit envious when it comes to others during the game, sometimes she would think that she has gotten the lower have of the stick seeing others with better items though she tries to hide these feelings. She can be a little impractical. Therefore she would do risky things in risky situations leaving her open for attack and leave her weak spots open for critical strikes.

Her favorite trait about her being lazy can also be her worst as she tends to want to do nothing for long periods of times. Mio can get nervous within big situations such as when she's trusted with the lives of others or even having to choose against one or the other. She likes doing things her way but sometimes that doesn't always work with multiple people and is the reason she doesn't like leading groups and stay's in the background, unless told otherwise.

Likes:
Soft Objects: She loves the feel and texture of soft objects as they make her feel safe and secure. The feel of them can make her go to sleep in seconds.
Friends: Her friends are the most dearest to her and loves to be around them.

The Skies: The openness of the skies makes her feel free and open, allowing her to be herself. Blowing like the wind she finds her way by flowing with the currents.

Roses: Its her favorite type of flower, for its elegant look and its color. When she looks at it she can sense the feel of valor and passion within it and likes that feeling.

Kittens: The soft cute faces of their brightens up her face faster then sound. She loves their sweet purring and little paw's it makes her yelp in happiness.

Tea: Sitting down and having a drink, makes her feel relaxed and welcome. As if she has nothing to worry about.

Dislikes:
Slimey Objects: The feel of it creeps her out making her body shake.
Being alone: She thinks its boring and lonely. She just doesn't like the feeling of it as well, as if they don't want to be with her, but that just might not be the case.

Bullies: Those who think they are better then others and mess around with those they know are weaker, aggregates her and makes her want to show them that they aren't the toughest around.

Frogs: She thinks they are slimey ugly creatures, the things that she hates most are their hind legs and webbed feet.

Spicy Food: She hates the taste of it and having that feeling in your mouth gets her mad.

Bad hair days: Waking up to the sight of it, just makes her want to shake her head and go back to bed with the sheets wrapped around her head so no one could see.

Ambitions/Dreams/Goals:
Making Friends: She wishes to make alot of friends on either side, good or bad. She believes that the more friends you have the stronger you become.

Becoming stronger: She wants to get stronger to protect others or those she thinks need to be protected until they can protect themselves.

Make a difference: She would like to be someone who actually changes something, she doesn't care if it's known to the world or only to herself. As long as she knows its changed by her hand that's enough for her.

Meeting her true love: Even dead she believes that she can find love and whats more romantic then find him on the other side.

Helping the weakThey are one of the reasons of fighting, without them there is not much to fight to protect, if everyone could already protect themselves.


History:
Mio walked toward the end of the light at the end of the tunnel, with her hand reaching out trying to end this endless road and suddenly she was awakened into a room of an unknown building. Under the covers of a bed, she tossed them into the air and ran for the window and opened it roughly. She stuck her head out to see thousands of acres filled with houses and buildings more then the eye could see in the horizon, hundreds of people walk on the dirt road beneath her, some even waved toward her. The owners of the building walked into the room surprised to see her awake so soon and asked her to sit, so they could explain the whole thing. She was found on the outskirts of town unconscious and unknown to why and she would say in her sleep was "Mio Kiyomi" so the presumed it was her name and she kept it.

She decided to continue to live in the building, for the mean time as she got better acquainted with her surroundings. She found out that she was a soul and the place they lived was called the Rukongai and they lived in the 1st District. She wore a more light blue kimono when she was out, with a loosened sash so she can walk more better and even run when needed. She would walk around to watch the other people and how they lived their lives peacefully, the children played while the adults worked, showing here there is still some kind of order around her and where there's order, there are those who like to keep it in place. Her first view of these "Shinigami" were when they had come toward her home, wishing to speak with her. They have found a unreasonable amount of Reiatsu coming from her and would like to send her to the Shinigami Academy, so she would be able to have better control over her Reiatsu and use it against those who do wrong. She only accepted as long as they didn't bother these people again and she soon left toward the Academy.

Not many are chosen in such a matter and made her stay at the Academy much more awkward and nervous, as if they are watching her closely. She studied in every subject from Zanjutsu, Hakuda, Hoho, and Kido. Each one she trained for long hours and strained her self practicing each of their techniques. She didn't master any of them but she was more advanced then the students that have been there longer. She was more skilled within her Zanjutsu, Hakuda and Hoho classes and for some reason her concentration in her Reiatsu and Kido were slightly off making it harder for her to practice with it. Though it wasn't as bad as to not being able to use it. As one of her final tests she was to release her Shikai, enabling her to use stronger techniques and stronger attacks. Speaking with her Zanpakuto was quiet weird and fun to her at the same time, having a little side kick was more fun to her then other shinigami's.

As a full fledged shinigami, Mio had more responsibility's and was put into the 6th Division and was placed the 1st seat, earned buy her strength. As she went back into the living world and has done thousands of Konso's, saving those lost souls. And also hollow cleansing, getting rid of hollows was fun and exciting, giving her a slight rush, when in battle. She was able to keep up in whether it were training or the real thing. She's sent many hollows back to heaven and hell, for their crimes. She was known most for her appearance and her work out on the field as on of the most hard working in all of the 6th Division. With the work she put in she was able to rank up to the Lieutenant of the Division.

As the Lieutenant of the squad she spent most of her time with the captain. His name was Ryuuji a man in his young twenties, jet black hair pulled back, he asked Mio to call him yuji-kun for short. Mio loved her captain as he was both ruthless in battle but still has a heart where it should be. They have had their laughs and they had their sorrows together. If you looked past the formality's and positions they looked more like a young couple, as they stood side by side. They were also known as a great pair in the battle field as well, with their blades in their hands and their backs against their backs, they are hard to defeat.

One day both she and the Captain of the 6th Division were on a mission in the white sand desert of Hueco Mundo as they were chasing the Decima of the arrancar. Bloody and weaken he ran for his life with both Mio and the Captain on his tail. Though something was strange that she couldn't have put her finger on. Then suddenly the arrancar released his true power and shot a large Gran ray Cero. Mio released her Shikai trying to block the strike but her Captain grabbed the her collar and threw her as far as he could, taking the strike fully and taking his right arm, dropping his Zanpakuto to the ground. "Ruuuuun!" He shouted before the Decima released another large Gran ray Cero upon him, before he dodged and continued to fight him to the death. Mio ran for her life using shunpo with every step to get farther. Looking back every few seconds to see if he was catching up, but for hours she waited without him returning.

She returned to the Soul Society and went to the Captain Council and applied herself for the next captain of the 6th Division. She took the Captain proficiency test to prove her worth as the next captain in front of of the Captain commander, the 11th and the 12th captain . She was placed in a open field to release her bankai for whatever it may be, she and zanpaktou worked together releasing more then they have ever before, crushing the ground beneath her feet. She first released her shikai, blasting wind came from her body, she separated her blade into two identical blades and soon she released more with a eruption of wind blast outward, taking the ground from beneath her as well. The winds covered her hands and feet. Both blades disperse into bursts of wind that surround her arms and legs. A set of gauntlets appear on her hands, arms and forearms up to her shoulders. Large blades stretch out from her elbows and her fingers have small blades on the top. And a pair of thigh high boots, with high heels. The front of the boots have a blade that sticks out and a blades stretch out from the knees upward and are about the size of half a katana. Both the gauntlets and boots are metallic silver. Her bankai formed in her eye's and proved her worth toward the other captains as she could with stand the amount of reiatsu needed to use it and actually hold it.

Four months after her new rank as Captain and the large Blue Moon War occured. She was not accustomed as a captain but she knew that she wasn't going to let her comrades get hurt when the arrancar came for their strike on the Soul Society. She was walking down one of the streets of the Seireitei and at the end of the street walked two of the espada. They called themselves Decima and Sexta as they stopped and turned toward her, Mio recognized Decima from the death of her late captain and he just laughed. Sexta was more cocky then Decima and dashed toward Mio without hesitation appearing right in her face. She used shunpo to quickly appear behind him, leaving a surprised look on his face. She kicked his back sending him flying through four walls and crash into a building, with only a large dust cloud in sight. She turned her face toward Decima, with a dark look in her eyes before appearing in front of him. They started to clash their unreleased zanpakuto's, while moving left and right, on the ground or in the air. Their blades created sparks as they clashed. They both swung with all their strength and blasted each other in opposite direction, they dug their feet in the ground stopping themselves from going any farther.

They both stood across from each other with their swords in their hands and Mio suddenly released their reiatsu, releasing her Shikai with the wind roaring around her. "Lets finish this two off. Our strength should be able to defeat them." Said a voice in the back of her hand. "Sexta finish her!" Shouted Decima. Mio's eyes widened as a large mallet slammed her right ribs, crashing her into the wall beside her. She fell to the ground with both espada in front of her. She started to raise up, before using shunpo and appearing onto the top of the wall. She grabbed both blades in one hand and grabbed the left shoulder of her haori with her right hand, and throwing it into the air. She threw a blade into the air before her and quickly grabbed it, and started to slash vertically and horizontally in front of her rapidly. Decima rushed out of the leaving Sexta with a confused face. The ground beneath him crushed in a quick second and a whip like attack slashed his chest shooting him backwards, and rolled against the ground, leaving a large cut on his chest. "What the hell did you do!" He shouted as he started to lift himself up onto his feet, with Mio jumping onto the ground. Decima could only lift a evil smiled on his face. "Finally one with such power! Sexta! if we wanna win we'll have to fight together" He shouted. Sexta spat in his direction as he grabbed and lifted his weapon. "I'll finish her myself!"

He slammed the ground. "Rock pillar's!" He shouted as pillar's of rock started to ground outward toward Mio. She slashed her blades horizontally in his direction cutting all the pillars in half and even striking him back even more then before. He lifted himself up with blood falling from an X mark cut on his chest. He released more reiatsu and slammed his mallet into the ground, as he pulled it out, the mallet was much larger from the earth it picked up. Mio rushed toward him, as he lifted it into the air. "Go back where you belong. Your die if you must!" She shouted as she slashed vertically, but Sexta blocked it by raising the shaft in the way. He jumped back and Mio followed as they dashed around with her attacking and him staying on the defensive. "You ungrateful servant what is taking you so long!" Shouted the voice in Mio's head. Mio gripped her blades harder and slashed horizontally creating a a slash of pressurized air that went forward fast, with Sexta placing his mallet forward to take the blow but cut its weapon down back to its original size.

"Dam!" He said before be coming enraged and dashed toward her. She did the same rushing toward him as they exchanged blows with each other. Leaving him with cuts and her with bruises. They both let out a roar before charging at each other, Mio placed both blades into his stomach while he held his mallet above her. He coughed up blood onto the ground as she pulled out her swords covered in blood. She breathed heavily as he fell to the floor with his hand reaching out toward Decima. "Avenge me!!" He shouted before passing out onto the ground and Mio started to walk toward Decima. He disappeared from sight, making her looking her turn around and found him over Sexta's body. "He wasn't worth your energy." He said crushing his torso, leaving him roar for a few seconds before dying on the ground. "Now if you don't mind facing me.....I would be most appreciative. Though allow me to be a challenge for you." He said as he started to change shape and into the shape of a chimera like animal. He placed his paw onto the ground, crushing it with his abnormal strength, before charging toward Mio. Before jumping into a barrage of claw attacks and a tail whip.

Mio dodged a few of his attacks before getting hit by his tail and getting sent into the wall. He released a large Cero blast toward her and she raised her shikai to block and raised a wall of wind before her, the tail's strength was able to break through the wind and pushed her through five walls crushing them to the ground. Mio forced herself onto her feet and swung her shikai around sending air blades toward Decima, leaving only small cuts on his body, he then went dashing toward her. She tried to dash and attack him but he was to fast and crashed into her and threw her into the air, as she fell he grabbed her leg and threw her, crashing into the ground as she flew and rolled around. She lifted herself up and spit some blood onto the ground.

She placed her shikai in front of her and released a large amount of reiatsu. "Ban..Kai!" She said under her breath and a exposion of wind erupts from Mio, spinning around her. A set of gauntlets appear on her hands, arms and forearms up to her shoulders. Large blades stretch out from her elbows and her fingers have small blades on the top. And a pair of thigh high boots, with high heels. The front of the boots have a blade that sticks out and a blades stretch out from the knees upward and are about the size of half a katana. Both the gauntlets and boots are metallic silver. She flicked her index finger shooting a blade of wind toward Decima as he lifted his paw and left a large cut in his arm, having blood spill out. "I see..." He said curiously, as he lifted his tail toward her and shot multiple spike like projectiles toward her. She used her increased speed to dodge the spikes but didn't notice that he had charged himself striking her with his head. She dug her claws into his face holding on for dear life as he charged through walls. She used all her strength to grab his head and turn it over to crash into the ground, making him eat dirt, as she jumped of his face and behind him.

"I see this will be bigger then anticipated." He said as he started to get up and started to walk closer. His tail started to glow as he raised it above himself. He dash forward, once he had gotten close enough he lunged his tail forward crushing into the ground but Mio wasn't there anymore, she had spun to his side and lifted her foot releasing a air blade cutting into the tail, making it hang . He roared loud enough to push her away. "Your stronger.......even stronger then that captain of yours." Mio had gotten angered but what he said, and placed both her hands flat. Wind started to spin around her hands and arms creating large wind tornadoes on her hands. She jumped back and lunged her hands toward Decima shooting both tornadoes toward him and they fused together making an even bigger one. It struck his belly and shot him up into the sky, the tornado grew in size cutting his stomach, just it turned back toward the ground with twice the speed and started to go through his body and exploded the ground on impact. The ground was cut and sliced up into a crater, with Decima and his shattered body in the middle.

Mio fell to her knees with her Bankai disappearing and forming her unreleased zanpakuto again. She went unconscious and found that they have won the war. The arrancar have retreated and they left us wounded with many of our allies dead or hurt. Countless burials were held, including those for the fallen Captains. Yet as quickly as they departed, new faces soon took their place. Mio tried to live up to the name of those who have survived and tries her best everyday with her usual duties as a captain.
